The tragic last social media post of Will Norton uploaded just hours before he was sucked out of the sunroof of his car by an EF5 tornado and sadly k*lled.
On May 22, 2011, Will Norton, an 18-year-old content creator and recent high school graduate, was driving home from his graduation ceremony in Joplin, Missouri.
As a catastrophic EF5 tornado overtook his Hummer H3, the extreme wind pressure shattered the vehicle's windows and sunroof.
Will’s father, Mark, desperately attempted to hold his son down by his seatbelt and clothing.
However, the force of the 200+ mph winds proved too powerful; Will’s seatbelt reportedly snapped, and he was sucked out through the sunroof into the storm.
After a massive five-day search effort that gained national attention, his body was tragically recovered from a nearby pond.
