i built this with my ai co-intelligence agent, Mai. the concept is pulled from my philosophical framework of 100 Syncretic a principles i developed last year,"the observer alters the observed." i've wanted to work with exploring math derivations for the principles for a long time now, and so Mai and I have been trying some out. we started with the math. the question was: how do you express this principle visually, without metaphor, using real mathematics? the answer for this specific principle was gravitational field warping. frame 1 is a perfect grid. 441 points (21×21), evenly spaced. order before observation. every dot equidistant from its neighbors. a system with no perspective imposed on it. frame 2 introduces one point. the observer, in red. every dot in the grid shifts. the displacement function we utilized uses exponential decay based on proximity to the observer: [ pull = d × 0.7 × e^(−r/R × 2.0) ] where d is the euclidean distance from the observer, r is the normalized distance (d/R where R = half the grid width), and each dot is displaced along the angle between itself and the observer by that pull value. near the center, dots collapse inward dramatically. at the edges, the shift is subtle, but nothing is untouched. the entire field is altered by the presence of the one who's looking. that's the principle. you can't observe a system without changing it. quantum mechanics proved it with the measurement problem and wave function collapse. Heisenberg formalized this concept in 1927, we just gave it a coordinate system. // the process: i gave mai the principle. she researched mathematical structures that genuinely embody the concept, not surface-level analogies, actual math. we evaluated multiple approaches together, rated them for accuracy, and landed on gravitational field warping as the most honest representation. she wrote the code in node.js, rendered the svg programmatically, and produced both frames through sharp. we're attempting to do this for all 100 Syncretica principles. math research, then visual representation, then rendered output. the end goal is every principle living as math, not just words.
