This is where Canada *could* be. Norway found oil in 1969 and turned it into a **$2 trillion** sovereign wealth fund. Every Norwegian citizen has **$340,000** saved by their government. Canada has **more oil than Norway**… yet **2.2 million Canadians** visited a food bank last month. It’s not just “corruption” or “ideology.” It’s a total failure of **capital conversion efficiency**. We generate the value. We leak it through foreign ownership, capital flight, and political fragmentation. We don’t retain it. We don’t compound it. Norway aligned ownership, built transparency, and reached broad consensus on long-term wealth preservation. Canada? We do the opposite. The real question isn’t “why don’t we have what Norway has?” It’s **why do we keep sabotaging ourselves** so we never will? When do we finally redesign the system to keep and grow what we generate instead of leaking it away? Drop your thoughts below 👇 #cdnpoli #CanadaFirst #ResourceWealth

Last week I met these two amazing ladies on the flight London Heathrow to Las Vegas. They were in a group of 6 and they were all fuming because they apparently booked two row of 3 but for some reason my seat was booked right in the middle of them. Eventually the woman in the right seat would go back so she asked for help, I moved her seat back and from there we began talking. She asked why I was travelling to vegas alone. I explained it’s wrestlemania, and the concept of mania week from a Indy wrestler standpoint. She told me she used to love wrestling on World of Sport, Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks etc and her grand children love wrestling too. They then asked what time and place I will be wrestling. So I told them to come to Joey Janelas spring break. She doesn’t have social media so I told her to be at the Horseshoe, 7pm, Friday night. GCW. When we got off the plane I said bye to the group. I had a group hug with my new friends and they were insistent that they were going to come to the show. In my head I was thinking (no way they are actually turn up). It gets to Spring Break, I do my match, top rope breaks (but that’s a whole other fucking story) I stand and merch and look who walk up to me. THEY ONLY WENT AND FUCKING TURNED UP TO THE SHOW (There were 6 of them but I only have a photo with these two) After the show I never got to see them and now have no contact as they don’t have social media. So if anyone knows these women PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I know they’re from Cardiff, Wales and want to invite them to a show in the UK!

Unfuckingbelievable.... Canada bans bulk imports of US fruits & vegetables, forcing smaller, pricier packs. It's listed as a trade barrier in the official US report, and we're refusing to fix it. No wonder groceries cost a fortune while the Liberals protect ridiculous, outdated rules.😏

WATCH: For Canadians wondering why fruits and vegetables are so expensive, a U.S. government hearing yesterday reveals that the Canadian federal government has been restricting bulk imports of fresh U.S. produce.

This is 599 Kingston Rd in Ajax. This was meant to be a shopping plaza with 4 stories of apartments on top. In 2019 permit was issued to pour the slab only whilst environmental concerns were addressed and further permits were being looked at. Developer continued beyond the slab without a permit. City shut it down. Developer continued anyway. City shut it down. Developer again continues construction without permits. City shuts him down again and threatens to seek a demolition order. Work continues. City goes to court and is successful in getting the demolition order. This eyesore has been sitting like this for about 5 years now. Then something odd happened. Several months ago Mark Carney began mentioning Ajax, the smallest and only Liberal riding in Durham region, as one of the beneficiaries of his new home funding scheme. Yesterday I received a letter telling me the 599 Kingston Rd project was back on track. Same location, same plans, same developer. There is something very fishy going on here in Ajax.

@pdrobertson I was at the Newfoundland memorial in Beaumont-Hamel a couple of weeks ago. It was a moving experience, especially when reading about the terrible sacrifice made by the Newfoundland soldiers.

On the first day of the Battle of the Somme, 800 (overwhelmingly “white heterosexual”) men of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment went over the top. 68 answered roll call the next morning. Now their male descendants can’t work at NL’s only university which was named in their honour.

The only reason this watchdog was fired is because he actually did his job. He refused to protect the corrupt. He told the truth. Jason Jacques had the experience, the integrity, and was the perfect candidate for the position — and that’s exactly why the Liberals fired him. They don’t want a real watchdog. They want a lapdog. This is what happens when you hire someone who won’t cover for the Liberal machine. Canadians are watching this blatant corruption in real time. When does the accountability finally start? 🔥🇨🇦

I realize I’m repeating myself, but I am genuinely confused how an actual terrorist is granted a jail pass and permission to leave the country to go find himself a wife (lucky lady, no? 😳) and I had to explain to my 3 year old grandson this week why I can’t take him to the water park a block from our house until next summer. 🤷‍♀️

Foreign workers in Canada: it is illegal to work in Canada without authorization. You must ensure you are legally authorized to work here, or you may face serious consequences. Having a valid work permit is the first step to working legally in Canada. Make sure you: • understand and meet the conditions listed on your work permit • apply to extend your work permit at least 30 days before it expires • apply to change the conditions on your work permit, when needed Learn more: bit.ly/4qFvI6o

Ontario is calling on the federal government to join us as we continue widening Highways 11 and 17 in northern Ontario. These highways are a vital link not just for northern communities but for all of Canada, supporting trade, national security and economic growth. As we continue building a stronger, more united Canadian economy, we need federal support to make these critical highways safer and more reliable for northern communities and all Canadians.
George Pirie@GeorgePirieMPP

Today, Minister @PrabSarkaria and I called on the federal government to support the expansion of Highways 11 and 17. As part of the Trans‑Canada network, this vital transportation corridor connects the North, Ontario, and the entire country to support Canada’s economic security and defence readiness. Ontario continues to make significant investments and advance work to improve and widen these critical arteries. Now, we are asking the federal government to help accelerate this project of national significance with serious funding and by removing duplicative federal review processes. This is about partnership, nation‑building, and strengthening the sovereignty of Canada.
