"It's a wonderful spotlight on your work and it's just the most fantastic exhibition to be apart of as you get to meet likeminded individuals."
That's TV spoke to Becky Paton about the upcoming open arts exhibition.
Do come to our Oxford Art Society exhibition! From the 20th of September to the 4th of October at the Kendrew Barn, St. John’s college, St Giles, Oxford city centre. 11am to 6pm
Doggie lovers! I’m making a new series of mini mosaics and they are pooch themed. First off are a Corgi and a Cocker Spaniel. Can do other breeds! Message me. linktr.ee/beckypaton
@leepiper66 I was there too. I couldn’t believe how fast people were driving, then they crashed. Awful. After a long wait, passed the other crash. I just hope nobody got seriously hurt.
RANT incoming.... Having just driven from Oxford to Heathrow on M40 2 accidents in the space of 3 miles caused by idiots belting all along. Seriously people SLOW DOWN!!!. I witnessed emergency services risking their lives to get you out, and still cars weren't slowing down 😡😡
@AnnekaRice just listened to BBC past lives. We share a passion. My mosaic portrait of Jane Morris is about to get its first public viewing with the Oxford Art society. A stones throw from her birthplace and an organisation that Edward Burne Jones was an honorary member.
My mosaic portrait of Jane Morris has been accepted for this years Open exhibition with The Oxford Art Society. Edward Burne-Jones, the pre-raphaelite artist was an honorary member of the society and great friend of Jane’s and her husband William Morris, a perfect maiden show.
Kingfisher lovers! I’ve added this little bird to my mini framed bird collection in my website shop. Hand cut mirrored glass mosaic on a wooden base. linktr.ee/beckypaton
I’m so happy with my latest mosaic portrait of Jane Morris. Inspired by two Rossetti paintings but adapted. The angle of her head, her face, her hair, tweaked and changed. The background and border are influenced by her art, her era, her family and friends.
