Reports suggest Newcastle won't entertain offers below £70m for Lewis Hall. I don't agree that he's worth that figure, but I also don't think he's miles away from it either. When you look at what clubs have paid for top full-backs in recent years, Hall's profile carries significant value. He's only 21, Premier League proven, has experience at two big clubs, has represented England, is technically excellent, versatile, and has a "relatively" clean injury record. For me, his value sits somewhere in the £45m-£60m range rather than £70m+. That said, I also suspect that the reported asking price is a negotiating position and would likely come down if serious interest arrived.
