This lady started her permanent position as Branch Manager with us this week… whilst still on ROTL. It’s a HUGE achievement for her which she has worked hard for. Thank you to all in the reducing reoffending team @HMPDownview for helping this go so smoothly for her (and me!)

@jamiemroberton At 7.15pm last night I was waiting for my (late) ride home when I saw one of our POM’s leaving for the day, I saw her arrive at 8.45am. despite this she STILL spent 15 minutes with me discussing our plan for one of her caseload. @HMPDownview POM’s are a credit to the service.

EXC: Majority of the Probation Service is currently working at “excessive capacity”. Leaked internal data over the last week shows that 8 out of 12 regions in England & Wales had caseloads over 110%. Senior probation manager tells us there is an ongoing risk to the public 🧵

I’ve done some work with the fantastic @lizeeebee this week. Liz is the only reason I was able to arrange employment on release for a lady I worked with who was transferred to another prison. I’d have lost her in the system without Liz’s help. @TheClinkCharity @darrenburns60
