I don't think there's ever an easy way to start this kind of tweet. Let me start off by saying the past few years of casting have been so amazing: from being a shy pro player who can barely express any energy on a cast, to being able to unleash all of the passion I have for the game that I sometimes can't contain on the mic, to casting the World Final last year, which was probably one of the highlights of my entire life.
This might feel like it’s coming out of nowhere, but it’s something I've been thinking about all year. The struggle I've faced is that I’ve been pulled around between two different worlds of being a caster and a streamer for years now. Trying to keep both going has contributed to a lot of exhaustion and stress where I feel like I've been going nonstop for so long that everything’s starting to become so overwhelming. It’s affecting my work in both areas as well as my personal life and I've neglected it for too long - juggling being a caster and a streamer has become too much.
And so, looking to 2024, I will be moving away from being core broadcast talent on the LEC to focus full-time on streaming.
I knew my last full-time cast as a caster was the LEC finals in Montpelier, and it was quite difficult to accept that I had to step away. I don't think I can begin to express my gratitude for all of the support I've received as a caster over the last 3 years, and it’s crazy to think it has been that long already. This doesn't mean I'll disappear completely from the LEC. I hope to still pop my head in on the broadcast and be around from time to time as a guest. There are too many people to thank for all these years, but I just want to say the biggest of thank yous to the LEC talent team who guided me these past 3 years, as well as the producers and everyone else behind the scenes that makes the show what it is.
This all being said, I am excited to finally announce that I will be co-streaming the whole of Worlds 2023 as an official English co-streamer, similar to MSI. Co-streaming has been something that I've been doing for years now and will hopefully become my primary focus of League of Legends content for the future, covering the competitive side of the game across major regions as well as big events. I'm extremely excited to co-stream the tournament this year from my own channel, and a big big thank you to Riot for giving me this opportunity.
I hope as a caster I was able to bring excitement to the games that I was covering and that my casts brought you joy or taught you something new, because that’s all I ever wanted ❤️
