The Florida Turfgrass Association conference for November 8-10, 2022, is CANCELED due to the impending weather from Tropical Storm Nicole and the expected impacts on the State of Florida. Further information on the conference will be forthcoming.

Orange County approved revisions to its fertilizer ordinance, eliminating the professional exemption and providing for excessive setbacks. Adam Jones and Dr. Eric Brown mounted a tenacious and evidence-based opposition to what is solely a political outcome. Thank you gentlemen!

On February 8th, Orange County, FL will consider revising its fertilizer ordinance. The current draft eliminates the professional exemption from the summer blackout and makes other adverse changes. EREF and others have been active on this issue. More to come.
