There is so much growth potential for this sport when it comes to viewership/media coverage. This @Bachscore piece is worth reading: wsj.com/articles/colle… If the NCAA sold the media rights to women's college volleyball as a separate product, they'd get some nice $$$ for it.

Emerging audio-visual distribution model for Tier 1 sports sees digital as incremental to the full or near full reach of broadcast and Pay TV rather than a competitor for exclusive rights. Trend is forming but will it continue?

@Aquinas82nd Teams want exposure and money. MLS is unique since they don’t get paid much and ratings are low on RSNs. Thus streaming is attractive especially with a rights fee together with OTA for the reach. Orlando Seattle and now DC
