I have successfully defended my Master’s thesis! 🎓 “A Data-Driven Study of Predictive Analytics for Improving Project Delivery Outcomes.” At its core, this research explored a fundamental question: Can project delays be predicted early enough to prevent them? Using real-world IT project data, I applied machine learning techniques to identify early warning signals for schedule delays. This gives project teams the opportunity to take action before issues escalate. I built and compared multiple predictive models to determine which approaches are most effective at detecting risks in the early stages. The goal was straightforward: to shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive, data-driven decision-making. Beyond the technical aspects, this experience strengthened my ability to translate complex analyses into insights that stakeholders can easily understand and apply. I am now looking to apply this work in a professional setting, particularly in roles focused on data analytics, project performance, and decision support. If you work in this field or are hiring for these areas, I would love to connect.

@MoghaluKingsley Even by politics Sir, a leader (politician) who is serious will work hard and hard to teach and educate. And this, by example. Again, who might be?

Nigeria is in the early stages of an enactment of Paulo Freire’s classic book “The Pedagogy of the Oppressed”. Nigerian citizens are oppressed and dehumanized by their oppressors. But to listen to many of them singing the praises of these (their) oppressors, it’s clear they don’t fully realize the dimensions of their situation. So they want to be like their oppressors, who divide and use them by rousing their ethnic and religious passions. They adore the “mastery” of “politics” displayed by criminals masquerading as leaders, and hail and abuse on behalf of these characters on social media. Thus they participate in the process of their own dehumanization. They are blind to the most important reality of their lives, but believe they actually “see” things. In Freire’s framing, the “banking model” of education that reinforces this passivity, this active participation in their own dehumanization, is what is dominant. This education is not only formal. It is also social and has become, even, “cultural”. What Nigeria needs is leadership that will wake up its citizens with “problem-solving” education and really empowers them to recognize their problems, face them and solve them. We speak here not of the “empowerment” that Nigerian politicians deploy when they distribute food and wheelbarrows or whatnot to poor, unemployed people they oppress systemically. That is throwing bones to a dog. It is the perpetuation of structural violence. We speak instead of dialogue that co-creates knowledge, raises awareness, and matches it with the will to act (“conscientization”) in order to achieve humanization. But this will not happen until Nigerian themselves rise up to demand it. It could also happen “accidentally”, in a scenario where the forces of oppression reach a point of competition and tension and something, entirely unforeseen, “gives”. Either scenario is what the great writer Malcolm Gladwell calls, as one of his books is titled, “The Tipping Point”. Nigeria, and Nigerians, need real LIBERATION so that we can be masters of our destiny, and realize our full potential. This goes well beyond “politics”, although politics can (and likely will) create the background, the point of departure, for these transformations. Are we there, or getting close?

Nigeria is not a poor country; we only have an inequality crisis The other time, Mr Dangote [the richest man in Africa] had said he couldn't find where to park his private jet at the airport, meaning more people are buying private jets. -Tope Fasua, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Economic Affairs #CTVMorningBrief

@MoghaluKingsley @Archiewonda Dear Prof. The part about the enlightened citizenry; a careful look showed that educated people largely don’t participate. Although the so-called less educated are there but if the former really come out, it will tip the scales. I observed that in the past Abuja elections

Said it before. Saying it again: what we are doing in Nigeria is not democracy. It is a power struggle amongst civilian politicians. The fundamental conditions for real democracy- a truly independent electoral umpire, political competition based on ideologies and ideas, a broad-based commitment to nationhood, and an educated citizen population that can make informed electoral decisions rather than on the basis of sectarian sentiments - is absent. The first point of reform is @inecnigeria

Kenya's President, William Ruto, warns that the African Union #AU is "not fit for purpose" and cannot steer the "continent into the future". “I can tell you without an iota of doubt that the African Union, as it is today, is not fit to provide the leadership that this continent needs going into the future. Therefore, there's need for the reforms of the African Union”.

I almost killed myself with groundnuts, forgetting that I was allergic to them and that they were what initially caused my thyroid issues. That nonsense Coke-and-peanuts thing here, and the fact that my wife bought some, made me finish a bottle. I have been in a crisis for days.

@Gidi_Traffic You are not getting it. D wife doesn’t have the chance to do these because of the pressures of marriage (home, career, children, the man, Inlaw’s). Any wise man will be able to know the difference and create a means to ease his wife’s burdens so that he can get those things @home

UK politics remains unpredictable. @KemiBadenoch could very well become the first Black UK Prime Minister, and there are signs that parts of the British public are leaning towards her policies. That said, the upcoming local elections will be a key indicator. They’ll reveal a lot about the direction the country is heading and what voters are really prioritising. For now, we watch and see how things unfold.

So I was picking up sunglasses for summer and a brother from Tunisia served me. We got talking about taking Africa to the top where it belongs. I told him I will be President of Nigeria in 16 years. He said "I would love to have a picture with Mr President" Me: Why not?😂
