#PrincessAlexandraHospita After five worrying days at PAH with my daughter,I can’t praise the staff enough. The level of care we received from A&E through to our time on the Nightingale ward was absolutely phenomenal.

@inthestyleUK can anyone help with a return, please. The order number provided via @HeretohelpAsos doesn't match with Inthestyle returns. I've tried to contact customer services via email and chat, but no reply. Thank you

@EmmieButler The charge is only completed once the merchant captures the order, which typically happens within 72 hours after placing the purchase. If the order is not captured the charge is not collected and the hold should be released within 1-7 business days.

@AskKlarna Thanks so much for your quick reply. There appears to be no order via ASOS account @HeretohelpAsos but shows a duplicated order via Klarna. It looks as though Klarna are processing an order that isn't there.

@EmmieButler If it appears that you are still being charged for a canceled item or order, it is most likely an authorization hold. Authorization holds are made to ensure that the funds are available when attempting a purchase and are released within 1-7 business days, depending on your bank.

@DaveWallsworth @revmaryhawes As a flyer terrified of flying (I force myself) your latest comment in that thread has given me very slight comfort, well apart from the ‘upset recovery’ sentence 😳 what is that?!

@revmaryhawes Yes. Turbulence as severe as was experienced in this event is very rare indeed and actually shows how strong aircraft are. We cover a variety of turbulence levels in our training including ‘upset recovery’ which is even more severe and disruptive than was experienced here.

Excellent piece by @SimonCalder about the tragic consequences of Singapore Airlines SQ321 encountering severe turbulence. My thoughts are with the family of the bereaved gentleman and all those injured. These types of events are extremely rare when you consider the number of flights made worldwide every day. However, they are also a reminder that flying is a dynamic situation and as pilots we are dealing with nature and a constantly changing environment. We always do our best to avoid turbulence when we can but there are times when it is difficult or almost impossible to predict. That’s why I always say in my ‘welcome on board’ PA that even when the seatbelt signs are off I recommend keeping your belt fastened. It isn’t uncomfortable and could prevent serious injury if we are unfortunate enough to encounter turbulence. But please remember, flying is still the safest way to travel and we, as your crew, will always do our very best to keep you (and us!) as safe as we possibly can. Again, thoughts with all those concerned with this very unfortunate event, including the @SingaporeAir flight and cabin crew who will have had an extremely difficult job.

Condolences for the bereaved family of the deceased passenger aboard Singapore Airlines SQ321, and thoughts with the injured. Some background on this tragedy and the issues with clear air turbulence. 🔽 independent.co.uk/travel/news-an…

@GMB my daughter and her best friend flew out to Rhodes, Lindos on Monday and are completely safe and enjoying their time there. They were nervous before they left but that disappeared when they arrived. They have not be effected at all.
