@kristal_klear33 I guess you could have a vampiric type of character that deals with this by sucking blood from the flesh lining to get oxygen, but that is usually a rude thing to do. Or go the water beetle route of oxygen filled exoskeleton but that's still a limited supply.

Realism about vore is so funny since they focus on the thing that is the easiest to counter (acid has 10 ways of protecting against it) and then make a huge error on anatomy (not understanding the guts will push stuff into the intestines regardless of if it 'breaks down' or not).
