@spittinchiclets I put a rink in our backyard this winter. Snowbanks as boards, friend gave me a liner and lights, so it cost me about $30 of hose water. My three kids and their friends were out there all winter. Unbelievable “return”investment.

@spittinchiclets It’s worse, much worse. Do a search on Black Bear Sports Group to find out how many municipal rinks they’ve acquired and how much the hourly rate of ice time has increased since these acquisitions. The direction that hockey is going from a cost perspective is horrific.
