Around 4 PM today, a wildfire broke out just outside our office. Wind gusts ~ 60 mph & RH down to 4% are critical threats to rapid spreading. A Red Flag Warning & Wind Advisory remains in effect for S TX. Thank you @NWSSanAntonio & @NWSMelbourne for backing us up as we evacuated.

Working the overnight, I stood up to get an energy drink, turned around and saw this scorpion scurrying AWAY from us. I blurted “That is the biggest scorpion I’ve seen” and Penny freezes in her chair and goes “Eric stop!” 😂
