@bitdancer In my experience, AMD is worse. I have an AMD and an Nvidia GPU in my system for testing software. Nvidia's drivers are a lot more lenient if you make mistakes in your code, most of the time, for me at least. I use an RX 6500 XT for anything AMD-related.

Nothing worse than when you have to comment out the majority of your de-initialization code due to bugs in the NVIDIA driver 😢

@KreekCraft @SharkBloxYT @Chaseroony (2/3) but you can find both his comments and my complete response on the developer forum if you’re interested in the discussion. While I appreciate Roblox's efforts to improve client security, these changes seem to negatively affect legitimate users on the platform.

@bitdancer @bitdancer Hello, I'm new to Twitter, and I recently created this account. I want to share something privately with you on the platform since there's no other way to make direct contact, and I don't have access to post on the dev forum. I'm sorry to bother you.

Despite its name, raw input, as received through WM_INPUT, is still normalized by the OS. For example, HID keyboard key codes are turned into IBM PC XT Set 1 scan codes. With it, we get all the quirks of a 40-year-old technology. If you ever need to deal with WM_INPUT, here is a handy tool to show you what is going on. github.com/RealBitdancer/…
