Chris here - just to elaborate. Not been a fan of Mr Beast's content for many years now. I don’t think he’s bad, but like many folks his content isn’t aimed at me and thankfully his videos never appear on my homepage. However, seeing him partner with Logan Paul, a man who's done nothing but awful act after act for almost a decade now just made me snap. It may have been six years but I still have the dystopian fucked up image in my head, of Logan Paul vlogging himself in the Aokigahara forest, mocking somebody who was quite literally hanging from a tree before him. And rather than do what any decent person would do, and show compassion and immediately switch off the camera, he recklessly and selfishly exploited it for views. He carried on filming. He joked about it. And then he actively uploaded it to his channel. Then I had to go on Japanese national tv and explain why a foreign YouTuber would want to exploit a man who’d tragically taken his own life for views. Understandably, everyone in Japan was confused why anyone would do such a thing. And while I believe in forgiveness, Logan Paul hasn't exactly reformed his character. He's not a changed man - barely a week goes by without a new headline of some outrageous, awful shit he's actively partaken in. So to see the world's largest Youtube gleefully partner with a man like that and endorse them to an audience of tens of millions of kids is something that just sickens me, all in the name of some disgustingly tacky food product, again aimed at children. I'm not sure what counter argument he has up his sleeve this time, but you can be damn sure references to philanthropy will be made in abundance. My rant wasn’t about “making money is bad”. It was about the act of making money by partnering with a man with an abhorrent track record to sell crap food aimed at children seems like a pretty spectacular error of judgment.

@TrickAIM What realistic countermeasures can be put in place against this sort of stuff? Maybe like role queue to help with team comp stuff, but no streamer is gonna change their delay or anything, and it’s seems hard to punish without innocent collateral

Ranked Valorant has hit an all-time low. So many people have said ranked is the worst it’s been in previous acts, but this act is at an entire new level. I have genuinely played a single digit number of games this act where I had a semi-normal team comp & players on there main accounts, not to mention if you have a streamer on your team you can no longer call any Strats. Genuinely 1/5th of the games you play in high elo you are deploying anti-stream sniping measures like waiting in spawn until the last second like it’s a game of battleship vs kittymeowmeow. It’s been infested with people insta-locking agents like Reyna, iso, clove and now chamber. If you want to play an agent like Yoru on abyss, raze on bind, Reyna on icebox etc. you will end up with a 3-4 duelist team comp or have clove smokes on icebox. Not to mention the absolute infestation of alt-accounts in high elo just being absolute ranked terrorists. Half of the duelists in ASC1-IMM3 are on lvl 20 accounts named spongebob69. All in all, this act has been horrible & I don’t even enjoy coaching players who are playing ranked this act because the games I watch are 90% full troll team comps and players, calling it a “competitive” match is hilarious. I have some ideas on what would need to change to make improvements, but I don’t think my suggestions would land where it needs to.

This has been insane year, I just want to say thank you to all of you who supported me and Team Heretics It's very painful lose, but tough losses build strong character and right now I want nothing more than to cry in my bed for the next 5months, but life goes on and somewhere deep down those all emotions I understand that we have done way more than expected, but since we lost the last match it doesnt seem like that. My teammates, especially the young ones are the most strong, mature, smart and resilient people I've met in my life and I am just proud and happy at the end of the day to share this journey with no one else, but them. I developed one more "WHY" to wake up everyday and become better version of myself this year. And It's for my teammates. Because I know that everyone of them got my back and will put up the same effort that I put in everyday. Nothing more than proud of my teammates and the work that I have put in this year. I promise we will lift the trophy next year, I'm gonna do my best to reach that. Thank you to everyone❤️
