The moment cold DMs stop affecting your ego, everything changes. You can talk to anyone, say what you need to say, and not expect anything back. That freedom? Powerful.

Logo Rationale For KRAVEN A bold fast food brand designed to ignite cravings. I crafted a custom logo merging a tongue and knife into a sleek “K,” turning concept into a memorable, modern mark, showcasing how thoughtful design drives brand identity and impact. Your thoughts.

@Hiadenike I had to abandon my Easter design project cause I didn't want to use random images or the ones already going around so I had to abandon it and move on to another 🤷

POV: You had an idea… and abandoned it 😅 March 30, I got this idea: show April Fool’s visually and welcome the new month. The concept: a clown stepping out from a paper door onto "APRIL" with a shocked look. Excited, I jumped in. My brain: This is where it gets real 🤣 Hours later… I couldn’t make “APRIL” solid enough for him to step on. I had to let it go. Then it hit me: I’m not there yet. Learning never stops. One day, I’ll come back and execute it like the pro I’m becoming. Have you ever abandoned a project because the vision wouldn’t come to life?

If a supposed designer says this, then you wonder why some clients don’t value creatives and ask, “is it not just a logo?” Yes, it looks simple to you. It looks like a shape you can draw in seconds. But that’s the point, you’re seeing the result, not the thinking behind it. Good design is not random. What looks like “just an icon and a minimalist typeface” is often backed by strategy, positioning, and intention. Every element is chosen to communicate something specific, not just to fill space. Simplicity is not lack of effort. It is refined thinking. Anybody can put elements together. Not everybody can create something that works, represents a brand, and holds meaning across different contexts. So when designers reduce the work to “just slap this and that,” they don’t just discredit themselves, they lower the value of the entire industry. And then we wonder why clients don’t take design seriously.

3 months ago, I started working behind the scenes with a fintech startup. And I won’t lie, at first, it felt like a lot. Different teams. Different time zones. So many moving parts. But today? I’ve watched things come together in a way that’s honestly exciting. From coordinating product & dev teams. To onboarding new hires. To helping structure operations so things don’t fall apart. I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to actually build something from the ground up. And the craziest part? It’s not just “another startup”. At @KomkomWallet , we’re building for the freelancing space and the everyday market making it easier for people to work, earn, receive payments, and manage money seamlessly without the usual stress. Simply put, a platform that let you save your Naira in Dollars That’s why I’m sharing this. • If you’re a freelancer, a builder, or just someone trying to make money work better for you. • Be early to something with real potential • Be part of a product that supports freelancers and everyday users. • Or follow a startup actually doing the work. Then you should be paying attention. We’re building @KomkomWallet in real time. And trust me, this is one of those “you’ll wish you joined earlier” moments. Please check it out, follow the journey, and see for yourself. Let’s build @KomkomWallet

3 months later and I almost can’t recognize my own life. From that post till now: – Multiple roles secured (EA, PA, Community Manager) even if I left 2. – Inbound opportunities I didn’t apply for – Speaking engagement on X, Got a PR package too. – Over 1,500+ followers growth – Stronger visibility, better positioning - Six Figures made - A new phone, spectra net and wig – Real connections that turned into real money. Same me that wrote that post, felt behind, thought I had “missed it.” The only difference? I showed up, stayed visible and stopped hiding. • Opportunities started coming from places I didn’t expect. • People started reaching out instead of me chasing. • My work started speaking before I even introduced myself. I didn’t suddenly become the best. I just stopped hiding. That one decision changed everything. Q1 has ended. If you’re still second guessing showing up, still overthinking posting, still hiding your process. Then I’m sorry, you’re not ready to break that cycle yet. Because the results you’re looking for? They come from being seen. If you stop doubting yourself, you can post results like this. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start showing up. And if you do it right? You’ll shock yourself. I’m rooting for you 🤍🔥 Let’s get Q2 started.
