Wednesday's DFB Pokal quarterfinal between FC Bayern and RB Leipzig will go ahead as planned. The decision has been made following a meeting today. A plan has been developed to ensure that nothing stands in the way of the game despite the planned strike of public transport [@BILD]

@FantasyGolfers I don't get how a WD can be half a point for your team. Why is there no reserve player? I get it, it's a known rule for years, but it's still very weird.

Somehow they haven’t figured out how to have a tiebreaker for the Ryder Cup if it ends 14-14

How is it possible that in a professional sport like golf and tourny like the Ryder Cup, some people come up with the idea to think an injury/withdraw is 1/2 point for each team, instead of using a reserve player? What if somebody shits his pants by friday?

@Complaxes Pretty sure there will be a new signing to replace Coman, even though we are talking about Bayern board.

@Complaxes Sane replaced by Diaz. Tel, Zaragoza played no role. Replaced by own campus players, probably already better or on their way. Müller wasnt playing much/good, could be Wanner in his place. Then again, dont think he is ready & they want Woltemade. Eberl quote wasnt about Coman.

So far, it’s Müller, Sané, Coman & Tel being replaced with Luis Diaz. I am excited about integrating guys like Karl into the first team rotation, but once Coman is gone too, this Bayern squad definitely still needs two more players to keep a serious & competitive balance.
Bayern & Germany@iMiaSanMia

• Is Nick Woltemade enough to compensate for the departures of Sané, Müller, Tel, Zaragoza, or are you still looking for a left winger? Eberl: "The planning is ongoing. But the calculation is simple. Maths help, even in football"

@Complaxes How about waiting until we know all details? Coman (who may be better, yes) is 29, barely plays 23 games a season, is officially valued around 30 Mio. Yes, we don't have to sell him, but he is not worth 50 fixed as some delulu people want. Have fun loosing him for free then.

@Complaxes You prefer to keep him, not play again cause he has no shot here, so we losing money on the bench? Because this is the only other option right now, when there are no buyers. Loan without obligation to buy not great but salary paid by Spurs. Maybe a fee? Next yr new chance to sale

Bayern spent €50m+ on a player that was pushing 30 years of age, gave him a €12m annual salary on a 4-year contract, let him ride the bench for a whole season & loaned him out without any obligation to sign not even 12 months later. Do I even have to say something?

@CampusVid2 Many words for someone just feet kissing the poor unfair treated youngsters & being their little submissive mouthpiece. I guess you remember these words. With that said, I do see quite some of your points. And if they lose Karl, Im gonna be mad. In the end, he has to show up tho

One last comment on Adam Aznou, since he is now being portrayed by many as the one at fault, someone who never trained well and was unprofessional. You should consider the sequence of events before putting all the blame on the player. He might not have trained well after realizing once again that things were not as he had been told and that he had not come back for what was promised. Before the loan, he was clearly told during his contract extension before the start of last season that he would be integrated into the first team and receive playing time. In the first half of the season, he was several times praised both internally and externally for his strong performances in training and was repeatedly told he was close to first team appearances, yet he never got a chance. That led to frustration and a loss of trust, which ultimately led to the loan move. For the Club World Cup, Aznou gave the club another chance and once again big things were told to him - that they were planning with him on the pitch after Davie's injury, that he would play at the CWC and so on. Only for him to find out upon arrival that the coaching staff saw him in the same group with the U17 and U19 players, treating him like one of them instead of as a professional who had just played half a season in La Liga. Then he got 8 minutes in the first game and no minutes in the second, he knew that if he was not getting more than that against Auckland, there would not be anymore gametime for him in the tournament and that he was again played by words and from there it went downhill. These are young human beings and not robots and some are better at hiding their frustration and maintaining their performance than others. For Aznou at that point it became clear that he had no future at Bayern, especially not under Kompany, because he was not left-back number 2 for him but number 4, 5 or 6 and Kompany would rather have used Laimer, Boey, Goretzka or other players out of position than him as left back. If the trust in a coach is lost twice, there is no way to fix it. So take the sequence of events into account before falling for the narrative, placed in the media by the club, and attacking a 19-year-old. Aznou certainly did not do everything perfect, because that's rarely the case with 18 or 19-year-olds, and he does need to learn to be more resilient and to channel his emotions better, but the fact that he is now leaving and that there is no longer a basis for continuing to work together is definitely not his fault. The club is playing it smart in the media, framing the story and shifting the blame for his departure away from themselves. Don’t be so naive. That was the last post on Aznou. I wish him good luck in England. The collaboration had so much potential, the timing to integrate and test him was basically ideal, and yet once again the club did not only fail to integrate a top talent, they didn’t even manage to properly test him. A disgrace for Bayern, Max Eberl, and Vincent Kompany.
Wusiala@Xerzey1

@CampusVid2 @iMiaSanMia "In general, the door is open to anyone who gives their all every day to achieve our goals and establish themselves permanently with the FC Bayern first team." In the end aznou was too lazy and that's a fact, you just hate everything
