@FatihAslanMD That’s a beautiful demonstration. Seems like endoscopic hand suturing is essential for this. The Overstitch device would be too bulky to achieve diverticulum closure from within the tunnel.

⭐️From Pascal to Poiseuille: A Physiology-Driven Approach to Epiphrenic Diverticulum 🎖️The scientific outcome of our epiphrenic diverticulum case — presented at #DDW 2025, San Diego and honored with the Best of the Best award — has now been published. 💥This work represents more than a technical description; it reflects an effort to rethink the pathophysiological foundations behind therapeutic decision-making. @hananmalghamdi @drkeithsiau Post-ESD histopathology confirmed a final diagnosis of a completely benign lesion with clear margins. ESD provided both diagnostic clarity and curative resection. With this organ-preserving approach, the patient has been followed for nearly four years without any recurrence.

@drkeithsiau Positive margins! Tumor dissemination in esophagus ! If turned to be false negative biopsy! And 😞 surgeons but this is a personal issues 🙃

@hananmalghamdi @drkeithsiau A total gastrectomy was initially recommended for this young patient before a definitive diagnosis could be established. Following tumor board discussion, the decision was made to proceed with ESD.
