@harza1065 @grreger21 You are reading a translation mate. I wrote it in Spanish and called it “fútbol”! By the way, did you know the brits invented the term soccer?
English

@cheltcanary @grreger21 You are resding a translation mate. I wrote it in Spanish and called it “fútbol”! By the way, did you know the brits invented the term soccer?
English

@FedeManfredo @grreger21 The fact you called it ‘soccer’ tells US about the quality of YOUR opinions….
English

@Jorge_de_Elx @Alfred1910394 No he dicho eso.

@wolves_aywe @Bigweiner20 All the land (te continent(s)) from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego is known as America, and it has been divided in two: North America and South America. “Americans” means more that citizens of USA. Not sure were you are from, but clearly you do not have maps nor history books there

English

@FedeManfredo @Bigweiner20 Totally irrelevant but America isnt a continent where I'm from.
English

@mike_desouza Legal “shoulder-to-shoulder” contact. Indeed, none complains, not even Eze. But even if you were right, then the VAR should have shown both episodes and the ref should have decided. Making two bad decisions is not at all like making a good one! It is more like showing bad faith!
English

@FedeManfredo There was a foul earlier in that move would have not stood
English

@IAmAkinade If you mean that we are all “falling” through space and that the ground accelerated Adu so to impede him to follow his natural geodesic, then yes, he was already going to the ground… like everybody else was!!! Which means is still a foul… LOL
English

@FedeManfredo It looks like the Ghanaian player was already going to the ground before the tackle.
English

@Bigweiner20 America is a continent… and the offside arrives after.
A few advises of good practices before posting stuff:
1- check the facts.
2- make sure you do not write adjectives that could get right back at you.
3- get your language right. The post incites politically, not racially.
English

@FedeManfredo commentary did its best to racially incite the morons and it worked....the call was offside. the commentary completely tried to make talking point. America loves hate. Play was dead and even if if wasnt its not a foul at all. Nothing burger
English

@FunDisney3 @mcfadzean_neil @DeanoMck Players can get red cards after the whistle too. And certainly they can get suspensions. Care to guess if he will get any?
English

@mcfadzean_neil @FedeManfredo @DeanoMck Nothing to do with nationality - that’s to do with the referees and it’s after the whistle, not during play.
English

@CambsResid18239 It really looks like a “shoulder-to-shoulder” LEGAL contact + no English player complains. But, again, they should have gone back and call the foul if that was the decision. Making that call means taking responsibility. Not making any decision shows bad faith
English

@CambsResid18239 Not sure about that foul and, if that is the case, then the VAR could have intevined and could have had the ref evaluate both plays. Two wrongs that could have been fixed but were not do not make a right…
English

@CBSSportsGolazo @ChristinaUnkel OMG! 110% certainty does not exist! It is simply impossible. And this here is a 100% pk. The impact is violent, the defender has his leg in the air with the ball on the ground, and indeed never gets close to touching ball. If you are not saying this, you’re part of the problem!
English

I would rather have seen a penalty here."
@ChristinaUnkel believes Ghana should have been awarded a penalty but understands why VAR didn't take a look 👀
English

@Amy44145716 I would agree with you if this was not, probably, the clearest pk I have ever seen. It is a violent foul, with the defender hitting the opponent on his thigh, while the ball is on the ground! The impact is very hard. This is a foul today, has always been, and will always be.
English

@FedeManfredo In club football it’s a pen coz VAR will give it but this World Cup FIFA is sending a strong signal esp in the aspect of soft pen.Dey realized futbol has gone too soft. FIFA is returning the game to its standard before VAR arrived . Watch club footballs emulate this next season
English

@CambsResid18239 Now, be honest and consider what wiuld have happened reversing the teams. No VAR would have been needed and a penalty wouldnhave been given to England. We both know it 😉
English

@FedeManfredo Actually think it probably should’ve been a pen, but then the breakaway only happened because the ref ignored a clear foul on Eze in the buildup.
Two wrongs just about making a right in this case.
English

@MNALIMAE @ImeobongSt Too easily? Can yiu see the vibration on Adu’s thigh? He is coming very fast and the English player places his leg across his body. The impact is so strong that Konsa is literally sent into the air after the contact he caused. Your comment demonstrates bad faith, clearly
English

@FedeManfredo @ImeobongSt The slow motion is showing exactly the player going down too easily. It lacks enough weight for it to be deemed a penalty. Almost the same with the one they awarded Argentina (it was not supposed to be a penalty).
English

@ESchwaa It looks to me that Adu is pretty close to the ball, mate… indeed, he run like 20 yards with it and wss clearly in possession.

English

@FedeManfredo The ball is clearly out of possession. Neither player are close to the ball when contact is made. Prince takes out Konza by illegally tackling from the back with his knee as Konza is reaching for the ball.
