@KinderheimRune People with agenda‘s like to mix up differant forms of prosperity; metrics based upon energy or resource usage reflect absolute prosperity, are effected by technologic deflation, relative prosperity is measured in nominal fashion by currencies we use daily the latter is zero-sum.

@KinderheimRune There fall from power has nothing do with a lack of immigration or sub-2 fertility. They‘ve been kicked out of high margin tech industries by the US in the 90‘s and have had too low interest rates for decades, serve as a source of liquidity for carry traders and volume harvesters

It is common knowledge that Japan had a larger economy than all of Asia combined in 1995. By 2025, just a few coastal Chinese provinces have a larger economy than all of Japan. I really wonder where Japan would have been in 2026 if they had opened doors to immigration earlier?

@BirthGauge It was one of the most intelligent decisions they made, it allowed the transfer of money, wealth and know-how to a single child instead of multiple somewhat akin to westerners having superior inheretince laws compared to arabs.

@Bogachan_1971 What would you do, if you had the knowledge and skills you have now, but were younger? Would you try to find out more or just find somewhere in the middle of nowhere?

@teortaxesTex The achilles heel of GDP as a usefull metric for economic performance, is exchange rates, which are not free floating but are set pratically be central banks, which is why on paper Spain has higher laber productivity than South Korea.

Savaşta bugünün özeti Trump, anlaşma var, 5 gün ara verdik; İran anlaşma yok, yalan söylüyorlar diyor. İsrail ise saldırılar bitmez, kazanıncaya kadar devam diyor. Buna diplomatic ambiguity diyorlar herhalde… Tam belirsizlik hakim

@Bogachan_1971 Why is what he says misleading? It‘s true that a lot of oil exporting countries in the middle east don‘t have a large account surplus and that they don’t hold that many dolars with respect their surplus I am not very knowledgable on this so I am interested?

@martian_lore The other option (albeit unlikely) is for the Iranians to sink or mission kill, a carrier, this would in my opinon force the Americans to cease offensive operations.

@martian_lore Either TACO, or Iranian state collapse after 2-3 months. For there to be civil war there has to be riches, capital worth fighting over and groups with the necessary organisation, skill and motivation to keep fighting, Iranian opposition lacks that.

@msaidergun Sizce an itibariyle CENTCOM’ın dışa verdiğinden daha fazla Amerikan zayiatı olabilir mi? Basın toplantısında daha fazla Amerikan zayiatının beklendiği söylendi.

@LFriszt supply as quickly as possible, the agremeent between Trump and Xi bought them some time but the Americans want to get rid of this dependancy as soon as possible.

@LFriszt Ideal scenario for the US is Denmark being held financially liable and the ban being lifted, the bad scenario for the US is the ban stays or this Australian company decides to keep the Chinese investors. They are also on a time crunch they want to secure as much rare earth…

Here's whats going to happen: >Europeans agree to hold talks that take forever >MAGA keeps chimping >Denmark signs meaningless deal where the US military gets access to something they already had access to >Trump sells it to MAGA as a triumphant cuckening >MAGA stops chimping

BREAKING: President Trump announces a 10% tariff on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, Netherlands, and Finland beginning February 1st. This tariff will be increased to 25% beginning on June 1st. Tariffs will remain in effect until the US reaches a deal to buy Greenland. “It is time for Denmark to give back,” Trump says.

@teortaxesTex Debasement is more or less necessary once interest burden and debt to GDP ratio of the government becomes too large, a democratic administration would have eventually also forced lower rates.

Independent Fed is one of the truly smart American social technologies, and Powell embodies it. The priest who heeds the Gods of Copybook Headings, whatever the Gods of the Market cry. China could never have Powell. Maybe their system doesn't need him. But the American one does.
