To start I don’t believe officials deliberately cheat and to err is human. This was though a call which I am sure will disappoint the officials if they see it. The net actually billows as the ball hits it.

@SupermarineFC doesn’t matter. what matters is the boys showed hunger, desire and togetherness. apparently they are enjoying their training and so it will come good.

Final score 3-2 to Hungerford. Marine supporters leaving the game unimpressed by a denial of what they felt was a stone wall penalty. Referee clearly thought differently.

@FlashInThePan3 @SupermarineFC @MerthyrTownFC @Official_STFC No exactly fully agree you can’t and I wish them all well. However what we have got in to replace haven’t performed to the level needed. Cribbs is a must win Saturday fa cup is a good money earner. It certainly looks like a race to stay in the division this season.

Merthyr deserved their victory. Two quality goals and a penalty. Marine rallied second half and saw out their first half of football without conceding.

They are a class act and we are not at that level. Change is easier said than done with limited resources

@JoshBarclay9 @SupermarineFC @MerthyrTownFC @Official_STFC The way it’s shaping up is that it’s looking like 2 divisions in 1. Marine will need to win the six pointers against those around them. The players that have left have gone to bigger clubs, more money, fresh start or a combo of above - as a club we can’t stand in their way.

@SupermarineFC From what I heard we got battered again today Merthyr we’re in control. How long can this actually go on for. I don’t see where the win is coming from. We look doomed. People make excuses the facts speak for themselves.

@JoshBarclay9 @SupermarineFC Easier said than done. Marine were set up nicely and had a good goal ruled out before their opener. The second before half time was a big blow. There were two screamers that were a privilege to witness. Not all bad, but no doubt this season will be tough.

@MeganMcCubbin Oh @MeganMcCubbin taking the train as opposed to flying didn’t make a blind bit of difference to the environment. Both were scheduled to operate and you choosing one over the other didn’t change that. You need to sort your tenses out, too. At the time, you were ‘sitting’.

Currently sat on a delayed 8hr train from the Scottish highlands to Bristol. Flying would have been a lot cheaper and quicker - but with the environmental cost…. Well here I am, sat on a train. It makes me so angry that we all try are hardest to make small differences every day. Something they’ve encouraged us to do, saying it’s our responsibility to change… whilst they’re approving new oil and gas mining licenses in the North Sea. No words. Anyone else feeling desperate - like this could be the final straw?
