@someidesign Im still a bit confused. Is the texture AI generated and then applied to a 3D-model or is the 3D-model also AI generated? Whats the workflow here lol?

😱 I realized I made a terminology mistake. This type of texture isn’t actually called a #trimsheet — it’s an #atlas. Sorry for the confusion! I still have a lot to learn when it comes to CG terminology. But this method genuinely amazed me, so I really wanted to share it out :) I’ve always struggled to find this type of texture, and in the past I often had to take photos from multiple angles and then manually stitch them together into a single image. Thanks to the friend who pointed this out to me 🙏

@mrdol Basically render passed but for lights! Say you have 10 different lighting styles you want to work with, but instead of rendering the same thing 10x, you just assign them to their respective passes, turn them all on, and the compositor will put them into their own passes for you
