These politicians are worried about children? Go after data brokers; my info was on these websites when I was a teenager. Plus there are so many kids who use fake ages when they're completing surveys for free video game currency who have no idea that info is getting sold.

Data brokers should be illegal. It's so creepy that someone's name can be searched up and all of their personal info is just there, along with all of their family and close associates. It sucks I have to pay a subscription every year just to keep my name off these websites.
