@zackiejoe @wrayn_man 100% agree I’m more just saying I’d take those guys over him at the top of the 2nd. Not predicting him to be a failure just think the hype of picking him like 1.12 is a little much

@FootballYapperr @wrayn_man He has an interesting skillset & size/speed combo, altho one that historically has not really been all that successful at the NFL level other than a few big years from Deebo. But he certainly has the tools to develop & that WR room is wide open for a ‘27 impact. Worth a flyer.

I’m honestly not as hyped up about Chris Bell as others I think he’s a fine click mid-late round 2 but I prefer Antonio Williams, Stowers, Singleton, Hurst or Bernard early 2nd

I’d pick the guys I listed above over him almost every time no matter roster. If you have WR1 needy rosters he’s not even gonna play for the first 2-3 months of the season that’s not gonna help you Not saying Bell stinks I just like the other guys more think his risk is higher for not much of a higher reward if any at all

@FootballYapperr He’s for sure boom or bust. I have WR1 needy rosters where he’s the ONLY pick to make early 2nd, even back of the 1st. There are rosters where he’s not worth the swing at the upside.

Which WRs is Ted Hurst currently ahead of in Tampa? He’s NOT ahead of — Egbuka, Godwin, McMillan and Tez Johnson. That at best makes him the WR5…. No chance he can be ahead of any of them. And he’s probably behind Kam Johnson right now too. Will Tampa ever dress 6 wideouts for a game? I don’t think so.

@FootballYapperr Same! The only rookie draft that I took Chris Bell is in a league where there's no Taxi and I dont know who to drop. Im hoping the Dolphins put him on IR first while he recovers and that way I dont have to worry about roster spots.

This seriously isn’t even a fantasy post I’ve just seen so many people tweeting negative stuff about how he should been an UDFA or has no chance in the league and I just don’t understand it just watch the guy play football There are many reasons to dislike him in fantasy especially dynasty including his age and I completely understand all them. I AM NOT ADVISING TO OVERDRAFT HIM. I just think the discourse of him being a borderline UDFA RB has gone too far. I’ve heard people genuinely laughing about him as a prospect when discussing him online. He was THE MOST influential back on the National Championship winning football team. He plays with a toughness and effort that’s rare in backs reminds me of a Pacheco style and because he split time his all around game is overlooked including pass blocking and receiving game

@FootballYapperr It’s largely board dependent but I agree I’d take any of those players before him. He may start the season on the PUP list, and his main appeal right now is walking into an empty WR room and getting playing time

@ShrunkenFranks With no real SMASHES later in this draft I’ll take a shot on an early college breakout RB with little competition in a new regime any day

@FootballYapperr What I love about singleton is a year ago everyone was projecting him to be a top 3 rookie draft pick. Shit happened and now he can be got as a 2nd.

Had surgery in early December I hate playing doctor in the NFL that’s not who I am but I’ve heard a lot of that timeline as well I think missing the reps of training camp, learning the playbook and not gaining chemistry as a rookie is a big set back especially for a 6th round pick even before the injury recovery (I know he was supposed to go earlier but draft capital matters team doesn’t have to be as tied to giving him big opportunity because wasn’t expensive) I also think Malik Willis and that regime are not built to produce a lot of volume in the passing game even with some negative game scripts they may see I don’t mind the click late 2nd because the “supposed to be” draft pedigree and the empty room just think the hype has gone a little too far and there are some red flags

I’m honestly not in on the Chris Bell hype as much as everyone else is I’m taking Hurst over him. -New regime in Miami wants to pound the rock -Willis isn’t built to have the volume we want from our fantasy WRs QB -He also might not play right away because the injury. Missing camp for a rookie is huge reps lost out on, learning the playbook, chemistry with QB and more let alone for a 6th round pick (I know he was projected higher but capital matters) I think the opportunity is certainly there because the vacant room, but I’m low on the situation and kinda middle on the talent
