@blondesnmoney Haha I actually believed what I saw!! Tells you something

@Tuuxxdotsol @MeteoraAG @met_lparmy True, but you just did that for xyz reason. Also how would you differentiate between a manually opened position with different range or bins? Would the bot only copy the exact identical ones? It gets messy
English

@FoxyMonkey @MeteoraAG @met_lparmy Why using a third party wallet to manually DLMM instead of having your funds 100% safe ?
English

Gm,
I had to prematurely end my ongoing benchmark of
@MeteoraAG copy-DLMMing solutions and am starting a new one as of today.
Yesterday, I decided to change the settings on all three bots to revert to a 60 SOL cap per position. This was in response to my source wallet going back to opening only one position at a time, and I wanted to optimize capital allocation.
I got a bit greedy and didn’t wait for the source wallet to close and reopen a new position. Instead, I manually copied its open position across my three wallets.
Later during the night, the source wallet closed that position — at a loss.
@SOL_Decoder (Valhalla) correctly closed the position automatically, resulting in a loss of nearly 7 SOL — as expected.
However, @lpagent_io and @met_engine didn’t close the manually created position. As a result, they couldn't resume copying the source wallet’s new positions.
Fortunately, by the time I checked this morning, the manually created position had moved back into profit — almost +5 SOL.
This led to a significant P/L discrepancy of about 12 SOL between the Sol Decoder wallet and the LP Agent / Met Engine wallets.
As a result, I’ve reset all three wallets to 61 SOL and relaunched the benchmark from today.
Clearly, this issue wouldn’t have occurred if I hadn’t manually opened a position. However, I strongly recommend that LP Agent and Met Engine implement a parameter to override manual actions — for instance, auto-closing a manually created position when the source wallet closes its corresponding one.
I got lucky this time, but had the token price kept dropping overnight, I could’ve woken up to a very painful loss.

@Finumus1 It's a trap. Then you'll be FIRE again, bored and risk going back to work! 😅
English

@FoxyMonkey Txs. I am trying to really build out my "automate myself out of a job" stack.
English

@Finumus1 Yeah, tide also have an e-money license, not an actual bank.
English

@FoxyMonkey Txs. We actually have a (Transfer)Wise "account" as well - but I don't think they are an actual bank....

Recommendations for a new business bank account for our Family Investment Company?
Pretty sure Santander (who we've been very happy with) are about to de-bank us.

@dopamine_uptake @HorizonEventual If the wind-down does not become a fire sale, there's plenty of buffer and money to be made. The most recent sales were close to NAV (one +5.5% premium, one -7.1%), LTV reasonable going from 30 to 24. But the market clearly hates API so there's that!
English

@FoxyMonkey @HorizonEventual As for the managed wind down, I don't think the stated reasons for preferring the merger passed the smell test, certainly not at the price it was trading at.
English

Since this deal was announced Custodian's mkt cap has fallen about 20% (£60M) and API is up 4% (£8M).
These reit all share mergers aren't having the desired effect.
d-spike capital@dopamine_uptake
Lucky day for me, but it was only a matter of time something would happen as we've seen with all the other subscale reits with large discounts.
English

@HorizonEventual @dopamine_uptake The wind-down is subject to shareholders voting, so might not go ahead either. Clearly the market didn't think it's a good outcome for API. -10% down, while CREI 10.36% UP!
@dopamine_uptake what are your thoughts?
English

@dopamine_uptake Better outcome than the offers being approved, but given the board were in favour, what chance they maximise value in a wind-down?

@Finumus1 What probability would you give to a Labour win without looking at Betfair?
For a 90% actual chance, Kelly gives us 48.3% of Net Worth :)

English

@ASinvestingUK @Finumus1 Actually yes you are right! Has it been always like that or something that changed recently? I seem to remember otherwise
English

@dopamine_uptake CREI up +10% following the news they won't go anywhere near API, anymore 😅
English

@RobasMackay Bitcoin while keeping the ISA allowance is neat. But CGT on it is not! I wish we had BTC in ISAs.
English

@FoxyMonkey The Bitcoin play here could be genius if the timing works out!
Only real downside to ISAs if you are/will be wealthy is that they are inside your estate (wheras SIPPs aren't) thus incur IHT.
