A commentary I’ve heard within the XRP community this month is some version of “why is XRP price dislodged from adoption metrics?” Here’s my quick take: XRP is not yet a liquidity bridge at scale. The version of XRP that we believe could drive sustained utility demand is when banks and businesses leverage it as working capital. We see signals that institutional use is growing. The FBI, @TheJusticeDept, the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), and international partners announced the disruption of four of the world’s largest Internet of Things (IoT) botnets that together were responsible for millions of infected devices and hundreds of thousands of DDoS attacks worldwide. justice.gov/usao-ak/pr/aut… The operation was conducted with related law enforcement actions in Canada and Germany, which targeted the individuals who operated the botnets. @DOD_IG / DCIS is investigating the case, with assistance from @FBIAnchorage.

The U.S. Justice Department participated in a court-authorized law enforcement operation to disrupt Command and Control (C2) infrastructure used by the Aisuru, KimWolf, JackSkid, and Mossad Internet of Things (IoT) botnets. The operation was conducted simultaneously with law enforcement actions conducted in Canada and Germany, which targeted individuals who operated these botnets. The four botnets launched Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks targeting victims around the world.
