Reasons why Read Across Compton is my favorite Day… a 🧵 1. I am lucky enough to host our school pep rally which involves lots of dancing, chanting,reading and raffles. All to get kids excited for the day ! 📖🙌🏼🎉

An amazing night at the K-12 @allatoona_hs Collaborative Creatures Art Show! What a great group of talented kids! 🏴‍☠️ Kinders draw the picture, 🐯 MS students create the cartoon strip, & 🏴‍☠️ HS students create the character out of clay! #AnchoredinRelationships

When previous students email you to come to a performance, you show up ❤️ The whisperings of “OMG! Mr. Garrett’s here! I saw him through the curtain” made my heart warm and my eyes tear up 😭 SO proud of these former @Comptoncubs and now @tapn2Tapp students! @CobbSchools

On Day 16 we had a class picnic to celebrate the last day of Milestones! 🥪🧺
