@overlandertheb1 Musselburgh's Brunton Theatre is roofed with reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete. With the passage of time, the structural integrity of AAC reduces to that of a rich tea biscuit.

🚨 Netanyahu: “This is confidential… and can’t be leaked.” Too late, Bibi. Tucker Carlson just dropped the leaked interrogation tapes exposing how Netanyahu allegedly funneled $35 million a month from Qatar to Hamas using American tax dollars as a divide-and-rule strategy to weaken the Palestinian Authority and block any peace deal.

What Lord Offord said about Labour’s attempt to make a deal with Reform isn’t even a new story. But let's look instead at the extraordinary institutional bias in the Scottish media that makes this sort of framing even possible bellacaledonia.org.uk/2026/04/15/sco…

Why don’t you do your job for once and include some provisos when reporting on transatlantic hawks like George Robertson: ‘Lord George Robertson, the former NATO Secretary-General and UK Defence Secretary, has significant ties to the arms and defence industry through his post-government advisory and corporate roles. These links have recently faced scrutiny due to his lead role in the UK government’s Strategic Defence Review (SDR) and his April 2026 criticism of the government's "corrosive complacency" regarding military investment.   Current and Past Corporate Roles: Lord Robertson has held several positions with firms that lobby for or supply the global defence and aerospace sectors:  The Cohen Group: He serves as a Senior Counsellor at this Washington-based strategic advisory firm. Founded by former US Defense Secretary William Cohen, the firm is known for its consultancy work for major global businesses, including those in the arms and defence sector. Smiths Group plc: Robertson has previously served as a board member for this multinational technology company, which operates in the security and defence markets. The Weir Group: He was appointed a non-executive director of this engineering firm in 2004. The group has industrial interests that intersect with military supply chains. Equilibrium Global: He has acted as a consultant for this firm, which maintains ties to military and security interests.  Other Major Ties Beyond the defence industry, Lord Robertson has held senior roles in the energy sector: BP: He served as Deputy Chairman of TNK-BP (2006–2013), Chairman of BP Russian Investments Ltd(2017–2020), and currently remains a Special Adviser to BP.’ Robertson is also a member of the CIA backed British American Project and the Trilateral Commission. He’s not exactly an independent voice in these matters. He also has a track record of paying lip service to war criminals.

Difficult PMQs for PM because the criticism over the defence spending comes not from opponents but from Lord Robertson, a former Lab defence sec and lead author of the govt's defence review. He accuses PM of "corrosive complacency", a lack of interest in defence and incompatibility of vast welfare spending and supercharging the defence budget Comes as MoD told to find 3.5bn in savings this year and, as per @thetimes @Steven_Swinford, CX proposing increase of £10bn over next four year - MoD says needs £28bn over that period PM says while he respects Robertson, he doesn't agree with him. Re-states govt commitment to reach 2.5 per ent of GDP on defence from April 2027 and then 3 per cent in next parliament. Says the delay in the defence investment plan is because he wants to “get it right” (amid obvious disagreements behind the scenes) “It will be published as soon as possible. We need to get it right. We inherited plans that were uncosted and undeliverable, and we're not going to repeat those mistakes”.

Greta Thunberg responds to the Israeli government designating her the second-most dangerous antisemite in the world by calling for mass mobilization on April 17, Palestine Prisoners’ Day, urging action against Israel’s death penalty law, which only applies to Palestinians.
Drop Site@DropSiteNews

Israel’s government released its 2026 global antisemitism report, describing 2025 as a year of “persistent high levels” of incidents worldwide. The document blends verified attacks with online speech, protests, and pro-Palestinian political activity—broadly defining “antisemitism” to include a wide spectrum of criticism of Israel. The report claims 815 antisemitic incidents globally in 2025, including 20 fatal attacks, with the remainder comprising non-violent cases such as threats, harassment, and vandalism, alongside a broader category that includes boycotts, public statements, and online speech or activism. It also counts 4,073 anti-Israel protests and 124 million posts on X as part of the overall picture. A section on “fake news” claims widely reported Gaza stories—like mass starvation warnings or viral images of Israeli attacks—were exaggerated or misleading. It names public figures—from right-wing commentators like Tucker Carlson to climate activist Greta Thunberg—accusing them of being the leading amplifiers of antisemitic content. The U.S., UK, Germany, and France are praised for aligning education policy, policing, and national security tools under one anti-antisemitism strategy.

Max Blumenthal just exposed a shocking corruption of the British justice system. Six activists from Palestine Action went back to court after being acquitted in February. They had already served in prison, staged a hunger strike, and one attempted suicide under extremely harsh conditions. Now they face potential terrorist sentences. But here's the kicker: the jury is not allowed to know about the "terrorist" designation. They're being led to believe they're ruling on simple criminal charges. If they convict, a biased judge — a former barrister for MI6 and the Metropolitan Police — can then sentence them as terrorists The UK has become a police state for Israel
