@GeekDesk my desk is still solid, 11 years old, on its 6th rental location. The first rental was burned out and had to move but desk was fine.

is it possible to upgrade an ooooooold @GeekDesk controller (we're talkin' 2013?) to one with memory? Or is that something the motor / unit would have to support? Anyone done this?

Been a stander for 8 years. When you need to take a break from standing, either get a fancy elevating desk, or just take your laptop to the kitchen table or a sofa for a bit. Or just walk away entirely.

I've gone 5 years with my desk, and come up with odd creative ways for cable management. Only to find out recently there HAS BEEN a cord tray for my specific desk out from the manufacturer AAAGGHHHH I don't feel good @geekdesk

@cordblomquist Hi Cord! Thank you for your tweet, and yes, you can use a little white lithium grease to lubricate the legs. That should help keep the legs functioning without the loud noise. If you need some oil, let me know.
