@AnthropicAI The fear data is what nobody's talking about. People aren't scared AI will be dumb. They're scared it'll be used against them. That's a fundamentally different problem than capability alignment.

We invited Claude users to share how they use AI, what they dream it could make possible, and what they fear it might do.
Nearly 81,000 people responded in one week—the largest qualitative study of its kind.

Thank you Jensen and NVIDIA! She’s a real beauty! I was told I’d be getting a secret gift, with a hint that it requires 20 amps. (So I knew it had to be good). She’ll make for a beautiful, spacious home for my Dobby the House Elf claw, among lots of other tinkering, thank you!!

🙌 Andrej Karpathy’s lab has received the first DGX Station GB300 -- a Dell Pro Max with GB300. 💚 We can't wait to see what you’ll create @karpathy! 🔗 #dgx-station" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">blogs.nvidia.com/blog/gtc-2026-…

7 things about AI agents most developers learn the hard way:
1. They hallucinate confidence, not just answers
2. Longer context ≠ better reasoning
3. "Agentic" without memory is just a fancy for-loop
4. Your system prompt IS your product
5. The best agent is often the simplest one
6. Parallelism beats chaining — almost always
7. Human-in-the-loop isn't a weakness. It's a design choice.
We're all learning in public right now.

Expectation: the age of the IDE is over
Reality: we’re going to need a bigger IDE
(imo).
It just looks very different because humans now move upwards and program at a higher level - the basic unit of interest is not one file but one agent. It’s still programming.

@nummanali tmux grids are awesome, but i feel a need to have a proper "agent command center" IDE for teams of them, which I could maximize per monitor. E.g. I want to see/hide toggle them, see if any are idle, pop open related tools (e.g. terminal), stats (usage), etc.

@AnthropicAI This is the work that actually matters long-term. Benchmarks will keep improving. The public's ability to reason about what those benchmarks mean needs to keep pace.

Introducing The Anthropic Institute, a new effort to advance the public conversation about powerful AI.

The developers who will dominate the next decade aren't the fastest prompters. They're the ones who stayed curious about what the code actually does, who kept reading, kept reviewing, kept asking why.
AI is a force multiplier. But you have to bring something to multiply. Build that judgment now, while most people are skipping it.

📡 The fix is counterintuitive: the best AI-augmented teams are actually slowing down their review process, not speeding it up. More code output requires more deliberate human review, not less.
Think of it like hiring the most brilliant junior dev you've ever seen. Incredibly fast, always confident, occasionally completely wrong. You wouldn't ship their output without a real review. The AI is that developer, running at 1000x speed.

@AnthropicAI Public conversation about AI has never mattered more. The people shaping the narrative will shape the policy. Glad something like this exists.
