ran into an artist I liked and had bought from before at a local con, they refused to talk to me and when i said i had been a fan of their art for awhile they just went "...ok", ran my card, and gave me my print without another word

May be a controversial take but if you're going to vend at a convention you really need to have customer service skills. This might be the first and only time you're meeting the majority of these customers and some of y'all are completely blowing it.

Anime Expo went well this year. All the amazing cosplayers made me REALLY want to get into photography again. I wish I took the time to ask for the socials of all the cosplayers I took pictures of to tag them/ask for permission if I decided to post their pictures
