@IAM_DOMINATOR I done this whole rocket league thing determined to make GC and I did it eventually. I've had two kids, married divorced and found a new partner lately and life is good. I'm also still building websites and doing it more and more again recently.

@TheWickedCrazy good times! I used to love checking the latest listings. Everyone selling Gears 2 Limited edition game, people asking is the code unused. Selling the code for 10x the value of the game!

Remember when there was a gold lancer and gold hammerburst and that was it!? Those were the great times.

@CittiSlicka the dead room, before xbox live party chat... Everyone played Warzone/Execution and noone played the shitty respawn game types. New round, fresh game, trying to survive. Being patient and outsmarting the enemy and winning the round for your team. Now its just FFA and shit.

@TheWickedCrazy @HeatMerc Id take a guess and say... the people that used to play it got older. Mobile and tablet gaming took over the next generation of kids. Roblox, iPad would be interesting to compare against.

You can see the spikes of the releases Gears of War games. Gears 1, 2, and 3 were all somewhat on par. Amazingly popular and great games. Interest in the game has reached a real low :(

@HeatMerc its Google trends. Basically you find out how much search activity around a game there is. Basically the bigger the game the more searches around the game there are. In 2019, aint nobody searching for gears even 1/4 as what it used to be back in the golden days.

@EssRawr GOW2, Why? It was a True Tactical Shooting Gears Game. Wits and true Skill was the Forfront for playing the game across all modes. The Story had the best script ever written in the franchise. The Exposition and execution of the game entirely was iconic and very original.

@mintpand @SenatorIvy Nothing better than physically owning a game. Like N64 games for example. You enjoy them way more rather than just an icon on a screen.

Game streaming means you no longer own your games. Game streaming means you can no longer backup your games. Game streaming means you can't play your singleplayer games if your internet is out or laggy. Game streaming means they can take away access to your games at will. #Stadia
