Again- look in the mirror. Emotional slogans like “get rid of PTSD immigrants” are cheap. How exactly would that even work without the investment needed to identify the problem in the first place? Criminals and known offenders are already screened through INTERPOL, and now increasingly through facial recognition systems. So that argument doesn’t really hold up. As for PTSD, the point you keep avoiding is simple: we need more investment in mental-health institutions. That supports the police in properly screening both immigrants and locals for trauma-related risks. Think about it. If there isn’t enough funding to deal with PTSD among locals, then there obviously aren’t enough resources to properly assess immigrants either.

Makes a lot sense. PTSD isn’t exclusive yo any continent, and we must ensure mental health institutions are well funded. On the subject of immigration, France is a huge defence trading partner with Rwanda. Bilateral immigration agreements with many African countries is how France has maintained its influence in those countries and funded its civilisation for the last century. Agreed! And it’s also the case for millions of local citizens too. Crimes due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorders PTSD, is on the rise, especially among young people. Less money for public spending leads to budget cuts that affect the ability to monitor and improve mental health… Sadly we highlight only foreign mental health crimes, rather than deal with the real situation- too many mentally unstable people free to roam the streets. Absolutely- he was not mentally assessed - not enough workers due to public sector cuts. Not even enough to monitor locals who have been in an d out of juvenile detention, certainly no money to screen mental health of adults… You should lobby your local political representative. Crime warrants punishment regardless of the mental health or past experiences of the criminal. Most people with PTSD and other mental health problems have not gone on to murder innocent people.

We have to screen people with clear traumatic stress disorders— local or foreign. He was an open book, , but cuts have been made to many mental health programs . Most of these mental health crimes are caused by locals- but it doesn’t receive adequate coverage. As for France - the govt, strong political, military, and cultural ties with Rwanda post-independence, would mean many sane immigrants will come. The French economy relies on billions from Africa…many bilateral migrations agreements exit because of the money!

We used to have Governments invest in mental health- now it’s seen as luxury. This person would have been easily identified, hospitalized or restrained at the very least. You should check out statistics on local mass shooters, serial killers and pedophiles- Usually suffered the same post traumatic stress mental disorders that this man underwent.. They could have been spotted, but cuts are being made to social programmes everywhere. I’m angry 😡 too, but can’t pretend there isn’t a preventative solution… Foreigners from countries with trauman should be adequately mentally assessed

And what do we do with the home grown ones? Even you might be one of them… did you suffer abuse as a child? Do you hate people of other faiths, race , class? Were you raped as a child? It any of this fits, then statistics show that you may snap and kill. The vast majority of murders are not immigrants.
