Regarding the boycott, My callout is that we can be loud about how other reps of minorities and poc at dc is botched but choosing to be loud AND antagonistic about it during a boycott specifically done for black ppl isn’t gonna magically solve the issue

the boycott really seemed promising and i feel like with just a few touch ups it could've worked. i think the backlash became bigger than the boycott itself.. it was one thing to have valid concerns and another thing to completely dismiss the boycott as a whole.
