For years, petitioners have been targeting the homeless on Skid Row, offering bribes such as cigarettes or cash in exchange for signing petitions that can change California law. They’ve also been registering the homeless to vote, oftentimes instructing them to use fraudulent information. Not only is this illegal per California election law, but @Savsays is the 4th journalist in the latest string of independent journalists catching this organized criminal activity on the streets of Skid Row.
