@buckingham_j @CarterM_PTL @belinda_bristol Letter names are very useful in spelling. I was recently asked how I would teach words like ‘of, you, eye, one’ etc. to early readers. With letter names of course!

@benniekara Great ideas Bennie - I totally agree that WBD should more than dressing-up when the actual focus on books can get lost! Books should be a focus all year & WBD should be a day to celebrate e.g sharing what has been read in book clubs, during budding reads,at dates with books etc.
