I arrived in Provo as a young man with @BNKonFOX not knowing what to expect. I was overwhelmed with all the love I received from Cougar Nation. From Cosmo to Kalani it was all love. From the ice cream to the dirty soda to the weird guy at the pizza shop it was all love. Coach Sitake danced his way into my heart. There is no place like Provo and Provo can’t exist without BYU football. And BYU football can’t exist without Kalani. And neither can #ProvoDave Stay Kalani Stay!

Why do you love Kalani? What does it mean to you to have @kalanifsitake as our head coach at BYU? Right now is the moment to let Kalani feel the love, respect, and gratitude of Cougar Nation. He has given everything to this program. Let’s show him how much he means to all of us. To make it fun, I’m giving away four 50 yard line seats and airfare to the Big 12 Championship game for two incredible responses. Share your heart. Let’s lift Kalani together. 💙🏈

Charlie Kirk was an American hero. He devoted his life to fighting to preserve our American values.
His horrific death should remind us that our freedom and preservation of American Values is never guaranteed, and there are sick people from the depths of hell that will do anything to take those values away from us.
Rest in peace, Charlie. I will continue praying for you, your wife, and your children.

Big News!
BYU Football has a general manager.
BYU football head coach Kalani Sitake today announced the hiring of Dave George as general manager of the BYU football program.
“I’m excited to welcome Dave to BYU in this new position as our general manager,” said Sitake. “As an attorney with a lot of interactions with the NCAA and working in sports law, he has a great understanding of the current state of college football and is extremely forward thinking about where college football is headed. He will play an important role on the financial side of our roster management to both educate and protect our players and optimize their opportunities. Dave is extremely intelligent with a skillset that will greatly benefit the players in our program as we move forward in the development of BYU football.”
In his role as general manager, George will specialize in roster optimization, strategic partnerships, revenue share distribution, facilitating name, image, and likeness (NIL) and brand-building opportunities for student-athletes and fundraising with alumni and other groups.
A BYU alumnus with a J.D. degree from UNLV’s William S. Boyd School of Law, George comes to BYU from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in St. Louis, Missouri, where he practiced sports and entertainment law. Previously, he served as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Las Vegas for the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson.
“I am thrilled to return to BYU and be part of a program with a fanbase and a network like no other,” said George. “College football is entering an era of unprecedented growth and opportunity, and I look forward to embracing the challenges and possibilities that come with it. Kalani and I share a unified vision: empowering our athletes to excel not only on the field but also in building a strong foundation for their futures. We are deeply committed to fostering their success in life, their careers and as leaders who positively impact and serve their communities. Together, we will continue to honor the rich traditions and core values that define BYU while moving the football program forward into an exciting future.”
A native of the Las Vegas Valley, George served two years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He and his wife, Macee, have two daughters.
