I am very excited to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Columbia University! I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Thank you to my family and friends for always being there when I needed you, and for all the time and sacrifices you’ve made along the way. To my mom—thank you for always keeping my head up and for your nonstop support. And a huge thanks to my dad—none of this would be possible without you. I truly couldn’t appreciate your effort and dedication more. To Dmitry Pirshin, thank you for making me fall in love with the game. To Tyler Pierson, you took me in when I couldn’t even shoot past the block. Thank you for building my game and for the countless hours we’ve spent in the gym. Thank you to Jordan Newman and Zac Boster for expanding my game and helping me see basketball from a more advanced perspective. To Coach Mullins, Coach Dwyer, and everyone else in the Illinois Wolves program—thank you for taking me in this year and pushing me to grow as a player and person. To Spear Training, thank you for building my body and making me stronger on the court. Thank you to Coach Benson, Coach Simon, Coach Gustin, Coach Swan, and Coach Edstrom at Stevenson High School for welcoming me in my junior year and making me a part of the family. Thank you to Coach Crotty at Middlesex Magic and Coach Greg at Breakaway for helping develop both my character and my game. Thank you to all of my teammates along the way—for always being there, making me a better person off the court and a better player on it. A huge thanks to Coach Johnson and Coach Carroll from the Newman School for believing in me, taking me in for a post-grad year, to elevate my game, and to prepare me for the future.
