Send a legal notice to such toxic HOD who harass you , thrash them to court , send them continuous summons and get your practical’s being recorded on camera (the court orders it) I guarantee you they would fear to even think about failing you It’s better to fight and win than to stay shut and suffer . And if any legal assistance is needed do contact our legal cell with one the best lawyers of the country ready to take up the matter .

“I quit when medicine was placed under State control some years ago,” said Dr. Hendricks. “Do you know what it takes to perform a brain operation? Do you know the kind of skill it demands, and the years of passionate, merciless, excruciating devotion that go to acquire that skill? That was what I could not place at the disposal of men whose sole qualification to rule me was their capacity to spout the fraudulent generalities that got them elected to the privilege of enforcing their wishes at the point of a gun. I would not let them dictate the purpose for which my years of study had been spent, or the conditions of my work, or my choice of patients, or the amount of my reward. I observed that in all the discussions that preceded the enslavement of medicine, men discussed everything — except the desires of the doctors. Men considered only the ‘welfare’ of the patients, with no thought for those who were to provide it. That a doctor should have any right, desire or choice in the matter, was regarded as irrelevant selfishness; his is not to choose, they said, but ‘to serve.’ That a man’s willing to work under compulsion is too dangerous a brute to entrust with a job in the stockyards — never occurred to those who proposed to help the sick by making life impossible for the healthy. I have often wondered at the smugness at which people assert their right to enslave me, to control my work, to force my will, to violate my conscience, to stifle my mind — yet what is it they expect to depend on, when they lie on an operating table under my hands? Their moral code has taught them to believe that it is safe to rely on the virtue of their victims. Well, that is the virtue I have withdrawn. Let them discover the kind of doctors that their system will now produce. Let them discover, in their operating rooms and hospital wards, that it is not safe to place their lives in the hands of a man whose life they have throttled. It is not safe, if he is the sort of man who resents it — and still less safe, if he is the sort who doesn’t.” ATLAS SHRUGGED Ayn Rand 1957

There was a strange line in Atul Subhash s suicide note.. It was a message to his son, who he will never meet. It shows what he clearly saw as the highest form of corruption - the corruption of the soul. He was a conservative. His wife on the other hand was a feminist, following She The People. Probably a liberal. The political/ideological incompatibility probably doomed the marriage from the start. The sad part is this is unnecessary. Too many people on either side, underestimate the seriousness of ideological incompatibility. You can't live with someone whose core beliefs are repulsive to you. Doesn't matter if they belong to the same caste, class, religion or profession. . The difference in worldviews is almost unbridgeable. Marriage is hard enough as it is, you don't want to make it harder. Luckily it's not hard to identify the incompatibility. If you / your parents are a conservative, marrying a liberal feminist is a stupid, lose-lose proposition..a strong independent feminist deserves better. So do you and your parents.

@Sonu2022562 A little low on judgement my friend?! Do I know you? Do you know me fully? Did I say not to diagnose Jaundice? But the difference into shades isn’t required. Clinical skills just improve PPV. Let’s stick to that!
Aditya Gupta@DrAditya2935

@manikbasha2197 Nothing wrong in knowing it. Knowledge is great! Nothing wrong in not knowing it too!!! It’s inconsequential. That’s the point. You should be able to detect a murmur! That improves PPV of Echo. Beyond that - if you don’t know it’s ESM - doesn’t matter in today’s world!

In a world full of medicolegql cases - better stick to ordering that LFT than worrying about shades of jaundice. Even the best cardiologist in the world today for all his murmurs hearing ability will stick to Echo. Let’s move to 2025 with POCUS instead of being stuck in 1965.
Dr Aditya Gudheniya@Gastronaut___

MD finals, gastro viva: My examiner asked, ‘What does the scleral color tell you about jaundice type?’ I fumbled. He smirked & said: Lemon-yellow = hemolysis Orange-Y = hepatocellular Green-Y = obstructive Nice trivia, but TBH, no one diagnoses jaundice by its ‘shade.’

What is the point of keeping reserved seats in NEET PG (MD/MS) if the person is already a dr and can be independent financially ! Nothing justifies this bullshit , this reflects in the shitty healthcare of this country . MD/MS seats should be open for everyone ! #NEETPG

@ashoksi77999115 @spkalantri Okay I understand. Still I don’t understand why eating sour food does not cure the disease. See, I am an eager learner. But even in childhood I asked questions, why, why, why so I learnt everything thoroughly till I understood. That’s why I ask why again.

In the 1980s, dermatologists treated both skin and venereal diseases—when STDs often appeared on the skin. Times have changed, and so has dermatology! From managing infections to enhancing beauty, this specialty has truly evolved. What’s next? #MedTwitter

@RiskyDR_14 Maybe you can start with letting him suture, and upgrade him based on his performance. (Just like only teaching the next alphabet after he learns the current one). If every surgery PG is required “n” number of independent surgeries before graduation, the standard will increase.

@RiskyDR_14 Agreed with you sir. Unless a resident is serious about the patients, there is no need to actively teach. But what is the scale? Each teacher has different scale. There is no objectivity here. How can you explain this?

No one treats juniors as free labour. To give a knife to a resident requires a certain level of confidence. A resident is first made to reach that level. A resident is keenly observed for his/her skills and seriousness towards job. Starting from holding suction to using scissors to cut suture every step is being watched. Indian training system is one of the best in that way. Incorporate skills but not before you are ready to put extra efforts for the patient. You don't get to operate whipples or aneurysm independently during residency. But you become skilled enough to do it later. I totally disagree with you.
Rishabh Jain MD@Rishabh2970

Because surgical specialities treat juniors as free labour, expecting them to move mountains while not letting them operate enough to be confident. The problem is with the outdated system of training and not the candidates.

@RiskyDR_14 That means only “some” PGs would learn ( the PG’s that a faculty “feel” is apt ) so if there comes a scenario of some grudge or ego then? So in a way Indian system is outdated. There should be objective measurements, a PG should be made to do a decided number of procedures.

If you need to know why India's infrastructure or development of any kind is slow, you can visit a government office and how fast they do stuff. Why gdp grows because of coroporates is also explained if you think in these terms.

The Video of politician Navjot Singh Siddhu stating his wife is cured of 4th stage cancer by just following Sugar free diet , eating turmeric and avoiding dairy products is very Misguiding to cancer patients and general public across the Nation . The public should be aware his wife Najvot Kaur was undergoing Chemotherapy , Radiotherapy and operated surgically with pain & palliative management in a modern medicine hospital and Not any Herbal centre . None of these original facts were stated in the video and only this herbal diet treatment was stated by him in the press conference . This is a thankless behaviour towards the oncologists treating his wife . The masses follow such vague advices with half knowledge by such public figures (hiding the main treatment course ) and thinking that cancer can be cured by doing such herbal remedies and abstinence of diet . These factors also contribute to violence against doctors as public follow such advices and reach to doctors in terminal stages and expect them to do some magic treatment absence of which leads to anguish over the healthcare professionals .

Seat blockers in NEET PG counselling are the worst people. They block seats both in AIQ and State counsellings. Some even do this to earn money via loophole.
