@drache_meister @Heart__Less @YonnieTaughtU Aaand the idiot blocked me 😂😂 he says this is “well documented” but can’t provide a single example of this ever happening. Never a single time has a black student been given fake grades to get a medical degree. Cmon give and example, since it’s so common😭😭

@drache_meister @no_ads1467 @YonnieTaughtU There is no history of it happening in medical school. 🤣🤣🤣Just spewing straight from your shit hole. I truly think this just comes from your own mediocrity. Like how dare a black person be in medical school when you couldn’t make the grade to go yourself. Pure Jealousy.

@Heart__Less @no_ads1467 @YonnieTaughtU Yes, I do. When they're black. There is literally a history of it happening. A well documented history of unqualified people getting in at the expense of more qualified people. The graph I posted shows that documented history. Or are graphs too complex for your feeble brain?

@drache_meister @no_ads1467 @YonnieTaughtU Do you believe that a person who can’t read is getting passed through medical school and allowed to get a medical degree? This whole damn country is fucking stupid with an average reading level of 7th to 8th grade. Then they give you morons access to the internet.

@no_ads1467 @YonnieTaughtU If they're getting in with less qualifications, how can you be sure they're not graduating with less qualifications? Or do I need to remind you that many all black schools are graduating people WHO CAN'T FUCKING READ. There's obviously a bias. You just won't admit it.

@Tone_Ray__ @UTDSiete @nxt888 If you read about the history of it, the slave traders developed strategies to make it happen. Women and children were sometimes kept without chains. Forced, limited exercise on deck to prevent blood clots. Sick enslaved individuals thrown overboard to prevent propagation.

@UTDSiete @nxt888 My position is the story they tell you physically couldn’t happen being chained up for 2-3 months at a period of time with little to no movement. Blood clots no treatment then leads to death chained up skin breakdown to moisture leads to infection leads to sepsis leads to death

I want to describe the Middle Passage to you. Not abstractly. Specifically. Enslaved people were loaded onto ships in West Africa at a ratio calculated to maximize profit after accounting for expected deaths in transit. They were chained in holds with roughly eighteen inches of vertical space, unable to sit upright, lying in their own excrement for voyages that lasted between three weeks and three months. Mortality rates on Middle Passage ships averaged between 10 and 20 percent. On some voyages, significantly higher. Historians estimate that between 1.5 and 2 million people died during the crossing, their bodies thrown into the Atlantic. Those who arrived alive were washed, oiled to appear healthy, and sold on docks while buyers examined their teeth and bodies like livestock. You described this system as "not necessarily a nightmare" and compared the labor that followed to picking crops in Africa. I am not going to debate you on the merits of this position. I am going to ask you to read what I just wrote. And then I am going to ask you whether the problem is that you don't know this history, or that you know it and have decided it doesn't change your argument. Because the answer to that question tells us something important. Not about slavery. About you.

@nxt888 Slavery wasn't necessary a nightmare. It was also not a crime. The Indians for instance offered themselves voluntarily into slavery to escape hunger, and the slaves got lodging and food.

@Michael96451896 @drterrysimpson All of this is multifaceted. A component of this is contributed to bias of those in charge who hold the view that black student doctors are less than/incompetent compared to non-Black peers, we’re already seeing a snowball effect that leads to less matriculation.

@drterrysimpson Then why do black medical students drop out at 2x the rate of whites? niaah.org/post/black-med… Is your hypothesis that medical schools are racist and therefore drive out qualified and capable students just because they're black? Or could there be a flaw in the admissions?

So you don't understand statistics well or understand how a doctor works. Perhaps you better go to bed now. To put this into perspective: The MCAT is roughly 230 scored questions. A score around the 99th percentile may represent getting ~3 questions wrong. A score around the 95th percentile may represent getting ~12 questions wrong. And people in this thread are speaking as though that difference reveals a profound hierarchy of human worth and future physician quality. More importantly, treating this as though it represents some enormous biologically meaningful standard deviation is itself a statistical misunderstanding. This is not a giant epidemiologic dataset or a robust population-level inference model. It is a finite standardized educational exam among already extraordinarily capable people. Ironically, the obsession with tiny differences at the extreme tail of performance risks its own kind of statistical error: assuming that small score separations necessarily translate into large real-world differences in eventual physician excellence. Medicine eventually reveals dimensions of human performance no standardized test was ever designed to measure.
Andrew Branca Show@TheBrancaShow

@drterrysimpson Yes, the person who ranked 99th has more merit than the person who ranked 95th. That this needs to be explained to you is simply yet another indication of the severity of your degenerate racism.

I heard doordash was stealing tips from their drivers so out of curiosity, I asked the woman who dropped off my tacos how much it's showing that I tipped her; she said $5. I showed her my phone where I tipped $20 (bc the taco place was busy and she waited for my order). 😐

@ColtKidMcGee The inherent bias of the outrage from the highlighted text without comment on the text right in between it of the racist views even affluent physicians hold towards Black women. Racists in medicine is what truly is disgusting.

Sanders and AOC introduced a bill to pause ALL AI data center construction. 300+ local bills filed. Half of planned 2026 data centers facing delays or cancellation. Each one brings billions to local economies. The people who say they want American jobs are trying to block the biggest job creation engine since the interstate highway system.
