Lucas Iverson, the actor who plays Oglive, said in an interview he hated the character too, but began to love him and understand him by the end of the season. I think what started to change him is the bond with the English professor, as much as the encounter with Kiki.

My oldest and his mother have just returned from their first ever trip to Japan, my Ace’s dream come true. Among the wealth of snacks & vending machine toys, they brought home some books from Osaka, including this Kaminoge Catalog of UWF photos.
