That, coupled with the fact that we have no idea how many people actually live there (math tells us it's probably close to a billion less than they say), I'd say maybe pause on the praise. Somehow their population tripled with a famine, a one child policy for decades, etc., it is true I guess that communism allows them to make us believe this crap.

China lifted 800 million people out of poverty not through communism but by creating Special Economic Zones where capitalism was allowed to function. Shenzhen went from a fishing village to a megacity because the government said "in this specific area, you can build freely.” That should tell you something about what works and what doesn't. Even the world's largest communist country had to let capitalism in through the back door to feed its people.

You’re wrong Mark. Us GWOT vets saw the results of your warmongering first hand and will never believe another word from you, or the Neo Cons like you, that got us into these stupid wars. If war is so great for our country then why is the U.S. worse off now in every tangible way than it was on 9/11? I left my country for nearly two decades to protect our country only to return to it in ruin. Drive down our highways. Trash everywhere. Bridges in disrepair. Power outages so common that you have to buy a generator. Homelessness and drug use rampant. But you want to go to war again. We knew by 2004 that servicemembers were at war while Americans were at the mall. Only 1% serve and .001% actually serve in combat arms MOSs. You and our poor excuse of a draft dodging President never served. However, you will gladly send someone else’s kid to fight and die for nothing on the other side of the world again. I refuse to comply.

You don’t know anything, actually. We don’t have a draft. We have an all volunteer military. Brave young men and women who join by choice. And recruitment is way up under President Trump. These are great patriots who mostly don’t listen to the likes of you or the cabal of Woke Reich American-haters and your Marxist-Islamist comrades. I talk to them all the time. I meet them. They are fantastic heroes and patriots. They don’t want your handwringing and fake pity. And they sure as hell don’t want your anti-American propaganda and trash talk. They want us to support them, especially now. In Israel they do have a draft. It’s a tiny country with a tiny population. Virtually every family is involved. It’s a matter of life and death. The current Israeli ambassador to the United States lost his eldest son in one of the first battles in Gaza against the Hamas terrorists. He was a commander of a unit who was killed in a booby trapped building as they sought to clear it out. The prime minister of Israel lost his older brother at Entebbe while leading a special forces unit to rescue Israelis who’d been kidnapped. He was killed by a sniper. The PM himself was wounded in battle years ago. But none of this will matter to you. Back to your bullsh*t. And here come the bots.

Federal, maybe. I have a hard time believing this, but I'll take your word for it for now. This doesn't include the $4k per household given to the state each year. That's excluding things like property taxes going to your town. If you want to keep giving the government money for it to "get lost," then defend them on X; it is your choice as an American. Just don't try to convince the rest of your country it's a model for the rest of us to use. At least my (volunteer) fire department has water when they need it. Imagine having your streets lined with homeless people in tents and $24B dollars that was supposed to help them goes missing. It just goes to show the Democratic philosophy about saying they want to help everyone (and in this case, even paying for it), but the process of actually doing it is the least important. As long as you can say "we care" through protests, paying more in taxes, whatever it may be, but actually doing something.

Yeah, and well over 10% of that is directly from the government. That excludes government "transfers" (basically direct payments from the government for people/programs), which was over $150B last year alone. That money is going somewhere and being spent, so that 10% estimated number is actually much higher.

Every new agency has had to come out with a statement that Russiagate was BS, and yet, here you are still believing it. That is the definition of being brainwashed, and MAGA is the cult. Russigate in itself is election interference and when the sitting president is part of it if not in charge of the whole thing, if you can’t see how dangerous that is no matter what party, idk what to tell you. Charlie’s entire point was if they were hired to fill a quota, no he wouldn’t. That is the whole point, they should hire the best pilots no matter who they are. He never said he thinks POC are unqualified to be pilots, and went on to say it isn’t fair to the ones who got their on meritocracy, and could lead to them being unfairly questioned of their qualifications, all because of DEI policies. If you simply asked people if they would feel comfortable flying with a pilot who got their job to fill any quota (lets use white males as an example) over pilots who got their job because they were the best in their class and fulfilled all prerequisites , I bet the majority would say they feel more comfortable with the best pilot for the job over race, gender, sexual orientation, etc., 9 out of 10 times. For people against him that called him racist, a bigot, etc. and celebrated his death without being able to site an actual example of any of this, for the ones that at least did some research on him, this seems to be the “smoking gun” and the worst example they can find. It was taken completely out of context, and for a guy who has thousands of hours of speaking on camera off the cuff, it is ridiculous.

UPDATE: Just got out of court in Miami. The Judge extended the temporary restraining order until May 11th. There will be a ruling then. The court is now asking me to surrender my firearms. See documents below. We are filing an emergency interlocutory appeal today. Prior restraint against a newsroom is unconstitutional. Near v Minnesota. NYT v United States. This is a violation of our 1st and 2nd amendment rights. We are filing an anti-SLAAP, seeking attorneys fees and will appeal all the way, if necessary. The TRO is also based upon third party’s comments, not our reporting. Thats a “hecklers veto,” where the government suppresses or restricts news reporting because of the reaction of an audience. This is regarding our reporting on Matt Tyrmand. We published a tape of him threatening to kill me. He shot up an image of me on the front of my book with a rifle bullet through my heart. He bragged about being a SDNY informant. Comments were angry at him. He just brought a “domestic violence stalking” Restraining order afterwards in Miami family court against my news organization, and the local Judge signed off. This is an extraordinary series of events. This is not an April Fools joke.

What grift is that exactly? Real undercover journalism, backing his claims by catching people on video admitting in their own words to what he is usually investigating. Somehow, people will watch these videos, completely ignore their own eyes and ears, and personally attack this guy instead. I don't know much about what he is discussing here, but appears someone filed a TPO (which requires 0 proof to file) after he files a temporary restrainining order against him. also they are 100 percent taking his firearms to anyonesaying otherwise. God protect him.
