🌍 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝟮𝟵 : 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 Du 11 au 17 novembre 2024, le 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 a pris part à la 29ᵉ Conférence des Parties sur le climat (@COP29_AZ), organisée par l'ONU à Bakou, Azerbaïdjan. Le Directeur Général du 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 a participé au panel sur l’impact des fonds souverains dans la mobilisation de financements pour les Objectifs de Développement Durable (#ODD). Aux côtés de leaders d’institutions financières de développement, de fonds d’impact et de fonds souverains, il a présenté le rôle stratégique du 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 dans les initiatives de développement durable au Sénégal. En tant que membre de l’@IFSWF, le 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 a aussi pris part à une table ronde organisée par le Fonds Souverain d’Azerbaïdjan (@SOFAZOfficial), axée sur le financement de la transition énergétique. 🍃 Lors de panels organisés au sein du pavillon du Sénégal, le 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 a mis en avant ses initiatives dans la finance climatique au Sénégal notamment par des investissements dans les centrales solaires, le BRT, le projet pilote PSP et le lancement prochain d’un véhicule de financement dédié aux énergies renouvelables. #COP29 #DéveloppementDurable #TransitionÉnergétique #FONSIS

The #COP29 Presidency, together with the ‌State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (@SOFAZOfficial) and the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (@IFSWF) today came together to explore the potential of sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) in financing the global energy transition, particularly in developing markets. As Türkiye Wealth Fund, we participated in the @IFSWF 16th Annual Meeting hosted by the @Oman_OIA in Muscat on 3-6 November. 270 SWF representatives and business partners from 46 countries attended this meeting, which was the largest gathering of sovereign wealth funds in history. Event took place with the theme of “Embracing Disruption and Searching for Resilient Futures”, focused on co-investment and cooperation among sovereign wealth funds, new steps to be taken in sustainability and governance, social impact in investments, and modernizing and reimagining asset allocation. #TWF #IFSWF

Cette collaboration vise à accroître les investissements privés espagnols au Sénégal et dans l’ensemble de la région ouest-africaine, en renforçant les partenariats entre les entreprises espagnoles et les secteurs privé et public sénégalais. 🇪🇸🇸🇳 Les deux institutions, membres actifs du @IFSWF (International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds) et de l’initiative One Planet Sovereign Wealth Funds (@OPSWF), s’engagent à promouvoir les investissements dans des secteurs critiques tels que les énergies renouvelables 🔋 et les infrastructures, essentiels pour le développement durable de la région. Ce partenariat, signé lors de la visite officielle du Premier ministre espagnol à Dakar et en présence du ministre sénégalais de l'Economie du Plan et de la Coopération, témoigne également de l'engagement des deux pays à renforcer leurs liens économiques et à soutenir les investisseurs espagnols souhaitant explorer les opportunités au Sénégal et en Afrique de l’Ouest.
