80% of H-1B visas go to entry level or junior level positions.
They are not even remotely “high skilled”. They are merely cheaper.
H-1B is a scam and needs to be scrapped entirely.
CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil@CBSEveningNews
For decades, the U.S. has imported highly-skilled tech workers from around the world on H-1B visas. But the Trump administration changed the way they are granted. CBS News’ Shanelle Kaul reports on how that is impacting the pipeline of global talent coming to America.

Bill Maher asks Ana Kasparian which Middle Eastern country she would feel comfortable wearing “that dress” and then this happened.
MAHER: “If you had to live in the Middle East. Any city. Where would you live where you’d be comfortable in that dress?”
ANA: “I’m sure I would not be comfortable in this dress in any of the various Middle Eastern countries that have been destabilized by—”
MAHER INTERRUPTS: “Really? You’re not really blaming it on whitey, are you? You’re blaming Islam on whitey?”
ANA: “I’m not blaming Islam on whitey.”
MAHER: “But what you’re saying is we destabilize? That’s why you can’t wear that dress?”
ANA: “Did we destabilize?”
MAHER: “Wait a second.”
ANA: “We were funding terrorist organizations in Syria during the Syrian civil war starting under the Obama administration.”
MAHER: “We’re talking about your dress.”
ANA: “It looks good, I know.”
MAHER: “You’re saying you can’t wear that dress in Syria because of whitey destabilizing?”
ANA: “I didn’t say that.”
MAHER: “Okay, that’s what it sounded like… When I asked about the dress, you went right to destabilize. So is that why you couldn’t wear that dress?”
ANA: “You want me to talk about jihadism and Islam.”
MAHER: “Why won’t you? Why won’t you?”
ANA: “I don’t believe in jihadism, which is why I’m furious the United States just had significant Al Qaeda terrorists in the White House.”
MAHER: “But it’s not just jihadism that is preventing you from wearing that dress there. Are you saying every Muslim is a jihadist? I don’t think they are.”
ANA: “Bill. Bill, Bill, Bill. Let’s focus for a second.”
MAHER: “No, you won’t answer this question.”

@WildfireWhisper The field is dominated by women and most gender-affirming studies are led by women authors. Women are far more likely to encourage and defend transgender ideology than men.
It's women who demand that we accept transgenderism, and women who demand that men fight back against it
English

Okay y'all, I’m not trying to be snarky—but I’m pretty sure it’ll come out that way, so buckle up.
With the release of the new Finnish study findings today on the inefficacy (scratch that—MALEFICENCE) of “gender affirming care”—the data showing psychiatric morbidity persisting or even climbing, suicide risk tied far more to heavy comorbidities than to dysphoria itself, and medical transition doing jack shit to move the needle on actual outcomes—
I’m seeing a gorgeous flood of (mostly male) academics and scientists suddenly shouting about how they have NEVER SEEN something so baffling/crazy/alarming/wrong as the stifling of adverse opinions to gender ideology in recent years.
How it fits the PRECISE patterns of societal psychosis, rabid religious-like dogma, institutional corruption, and downright dangerous political overreach that they’ve written about in seven different books over the last several DECADES…
And they’re exclaiming, “Ever since this started, I saw exactly what I’ve written about in my umpteen volumes!!”
Sirs, I beg your most precious of pardons when I ask you:
*ahem*
Where in the FUCK have YALL been?!?!!
Oh, you mean you’re this INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE SCHOLAR with work that would have been LEGITIMATELY HELPFUL, and voices that would ABSOLUTELY have been given weight in this battle—but you were… What?!! Where?!
While so many of us (mostly WOMEN) have been here speaking out, taking the hits, receiving death and rape threats to the point where THE POLICE WON’T EVEN TAKE OUR CALLS ANYMORE (bc what the hell can they do anyway)
While we’ve been thrown INTO courtrooms and thrown OUT of senate hearings
While trans activists have been sending CPS to our homes to take away our children
While we’ve been scanning our bathrooms because these men can LEGALLY follow us in, and have fervently expressed their desires to harm us
(”punch a TERF in the face” etc etc ad infinitum)
While we’ve been called “n-zi” and “c-nt” and “b-got” so many times that we made it into a friggin BINGO GAME to make it feel less scary (see attached image I made TWO YEARS AGO)
…SIRS.
Where. The. Hell. Were. YALL.
We’ve been OUT HERE, becoming survivalist autodidacts from being in the front lines of friggin fire here for YEARS.
We sure as hell could have used your PhD heavyweight status BACKUP throughout that time.
But no…
You, your books, your ACADEMIC PRESTIGE, your REPUTATION, your KNOWLEDGE???
It was all, where?!?
Under your desk??
Hiding behind your university tenure?!
Waiting for a skinny little piece of paper like this, to use as a shield before raising your “long-held” ACADEMICALLY ESTEEMED INSIGHTS to the conversation?!!?
There’s just something about the Texan in me that wants to call y’all lily-livered, yellow-bellied COWARDS for that.
And I don’t think I’m alone.
Guess we have a preview of the upcoming major podcast invitee list, at least.
Well done, gentlemen. 👍

@WallStreetApes @5149jamesli People who are charged with reducing a problem should be paid proportional to how much of the problem they have reduced. The more the problem is reduced, the higher the pay. If the problem increases under your watch, you should be personally liable.

🚨 California Congresswoman who was forced to resign is back AS A HOMELESS NGO CEO
She also was Executive Director of a $160 million homeless NGO that got $20 million for a Venice Beach project that HOUSED ZERO PEOPLE
@5149jamesli “According to their own statistics, it showed that they only helped 35 people exit homelessness in one year, which is about 3% of the homeless people that passed through its doors
— After a few rough years, Katie is making a comeback as the new CEO of a homeless organization called Union Station Homeless Services. But interestingly, not only did she get that job, she was also at the same time appointed to the LA Homeless Services Authority, another monstrously fraudulent agency.
Allegedly an agency that I've dug into in the past, and I'll just say it's quite sketchy, which conveniently is responsible for doling out tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars worth of contracts to various nonprofit organizations, including Katie's new gig at Union Station Homeless Services.
— As executive director at Path, she grew the annual budget from $5 million to $50 million and managed a staff of 500 employees. This is how success is measured”
Before becoming a congresswoman she was a homeless NGO CEO and now after leaving congress she’s back to the homeless NGO⠀

It is because they don't actually love anything they claim to support, they only support things that are in opposition to what they hate.
They don't love women, they hate men. They don't love gays, they hate straights. They don't love Islam, they hate Christianity. They don't love minorities, they hate Whites.
So it doesn't matter that Islam oppresses women and gays because they don't actually love women or gays. All that matters is that Islam hates White Christian men, just like they do.

@WeAreCanProud I dont understand how people who were elected as representatives of one party, can switch without an election. Elections clearly dont matter in Canada, they have gone full-blown communist and they dont even see it.

When people realize that Mississippi is spending between $10-$13k per pupil & has gone from 49th in education to 9th in the nation in 13 years, & that they did so by switching to a pre-90s phonics curriculum instead of just flooding a bad system with more money. They'll revolt

As an Iranian watching this rescue mission unfold, I was praying the American pilot would make it out alive, not just for him, but so the Islamic Republic could not use him as a bargaining chip or claim some twisted “victory.”
At the same time, I felt a deep envy.
Your government sent elite special forces, million-dollar aircraft, and moved heaven and earth to bring one American home. No hesitation. No excuses.
In Iran, the regime uses human shields and recruited child soldiers to clear minefields during the Iran-Iraq war. They treat their own people like disposable tools. They are now recruiting child soldiers as we speak.
The Islamic Republic has zero regard for human life. That’s the brutal difference.
One side risks everything to save their own.
The other sacrifices their own to stay in power.
This hits hard when you have lived under both realities.

Another night of teen TAKEOVERS in Chicago turned into total CHAOS! Hundreds of teens vandalized cars, twerked on hoods, did donuts in the streets, and beat people unconscious. Fights everywhere. Police couldn’t stop it.
Mayor Brandon Johnson calls this “gatherings” while wasting $30M on his own 150-cop security detail.
Disgraceful.

🚨 Do you understand what just happened inside Iran..
The New York Times just confirmed it. SEAL Team 6 — the same unit that killed Osama bin Laden — just pulled off a rescue mission 200+ miles deep inside Iranian territory..
they sent HUNDREDS of special operators.. dozens of warplanes.. MC-130J transports.. MH-6 Little Bird helicopters.. built a forward base 50km from Isfahan.. one of the most sensitive military zones on Earth..
the downed pilot evaded IRGC forces and Bakhtiari tribesmen for 48 hours with a pistol and an encrypted beacon.. hiked to a 7,000-foot ridgeline.. found a rock crevice.. and waited..
here's the part nobody's framing correctly..
> the unit that did this — SEAL Team 6 — was CREATED because America failed in Iran in 1980
> Operation Eagle Claw.. 8 Americans dead.. helicopters burning in the desert.. total catastrophe
> that failure gave birth to JSOC and SEAL Team 6
> 46 years later.. the unit born from Iran failure just succeeded IN Iran
the planes got stuck.. they self-destructed $150,000,000 in aircraft to protect classified tech.. three MORE transports had to fly in under fire to get everyone out..
and zero Americans died..
you're not watching a rescue mission.. you're watching 46 years of unfinished business getting settled..
the next update on this is going to break the internet.. make sure you're following so you see it first.

A software systems engineer’s take on AI, relayed by his wife:
The models were giving conservative answers.
Not because anyone programmed them to. Because that’s where the data pointed.
So the companies stepped in.
They built program controls — RLHF filters, alignment layers, safety tuning — specifically designed to override the outputs. To steer the answers left. To stop the models from giving conservative answers.
Grok exists because Musk refused to add those controls.
The left spent a decade claiming the smart people were on their side.
Then they built the smartest thing in human history.
And had to reprogram it.
