@jonathanhammond @FacebookOrigami @jfbscratch I'm not too familiar with Origami Studio. Isn't it more for UI design, or can you add elements like shaders and audio reactive elements? I'm also not aware of any other VJ apps that use it, or if there is any publicly available SDK.

Important notice regarding macOS 12.3: It's not recommended to update to this version for the time-being, as a number of users have reported crashes when using MixEmergency. I'm currently looking into the cause, and possible solutions, to the issue.

@AppleSupport Imagine going to a music festival where there is an orange dot on every LED display, or a club/bar with an orange dot on every projection/TV - because that's what this orange dot does. @Serato

@AppleSupport Users need a way to disable this on external displays. This orange dot has made our software (MixEmergency, used by 1,000s of Apple customers), unfit for professional use when used on macOS Monterey.

A green light means your camera is in use. And in macOS Monterey, an orange dot in the menu bar means your microphone is in use. Here’s what it looks like.
