Our new paper found some larval golden perch drifted over 1615 km from their spawning grounds near Mungindi downstream to the Menindee Lakes. Protection of future connected flow events will be important for improving golden perch populations. Check out at: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

These murals at CSU Thurgoona were painted by Tracie MacVean to represent our unique alpine landscapes and some of the species that live in this ecosystem. Our team currently works to protect the critically endangered Stocky galaxias, Alpine spiny crayfish and Macquarie perch.
