Training grants from the NCI or other NIH institutes should open to all trainees. Never understood why trainees who are not US citizens or permanent residents, but have a legal visa for training, are not eligible. This needs to be fixed.

Many international students, postdocs (and some faculty) have it extra difficult right now because they cannot leave the US and visit family & friends in their home country, which they likely haven't seen for years. Think it's important for PIs in the US to know about this.
