(3/3) With decades of Western policy consensus callously swept aside, European nations must now do everything within their power to preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and repel Russia’s aggression.

(2/3) The UK government is doing its best to live up to this commitment, but the US is effectively siding with Russia in undermining it. Instead of seeing its sovereignty preserved, Ukraine is being pressured to accept a lopsided peace agreement without real guarantees.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

If Hungary does not want to be part of Europe, replace them with Ukraine that does. Having a Putin agent blocking vital aid to defend Europe is absurd.

Zelensky is the man Trump will never be.

Ukraine is fighting for the normal and safe life it deserves, for a just and reliable peace. We want this war to end. But Russia does not, and continues its aerial terror: over the past week, more than 1,050 attack drones, nearly 1,300 aerial bombs, and more than 20 missiles have been launched at Ukraine to destroy cities and kill people. Those who seek negotiations do not deliberately strike civilians with ballistic missiles. To force Russia to stop its attacks, we need greater collective strength from the world. Strengthening our air defense, supporting our army, and ensuring effective security guarantees that will make the return of Russian aggression impossible—this is what we must focus on. Justice must prevail. We believe in the power of unity, and we will certainly restore lasting peace.

As a result of these days, we see clear support from Europe. Even more unity, even more willingness to cooperate. Everyone is united on the main issue – for peace to be real, we need real security guarantees. And this is the position of all of Europe – the entire continent. The United Kingdom, the European Union, Türkiye. Of course, we understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for all the support we’ve received from the United States. There has not been a day when we haven’t felt gratitude. It’s gratitude for the preservation of our independence – our resilience in Ukraine is based on what our partners are doing for us – and for their own security. What we need is peace, not endless war. And that’s why we say security guarantees are the key to this.

Vladimir Putin is not America’s friend.

It is a huge embarrassment that Trump has effectively switched sides in the Russo-Ukraine war, joining Russia. The U.S. has aligned itself not with our allies in NATO, but with the longstanding, principal threat to NATO: Moscow.  It's unthinkable that an American president would do this.

Trump firing much of our top military leadership overnight is wrong. I’ll speak out against this but I need you to join me. I want all of us, especially our veterans, to call this what it is — politicizing our military. This is dangerous behavior by a President.

Why do all decent people stand by Ukraine today? Why do free nations today pay a tribute to the heroes and victims of this inhuman war? Because this is a war in defense of us all: Ukraine, Poland, Europe and our values. Let no-one try to question the very sense of this fight.

Three years of resistance. Three years of gratitude. Three years of absolute heroism of Ukrainians. I am proud of Ukraine! I thank everyone who defends and supports it.
