Abbas Ka'bi, a member of the Assembly of Experts said negotiations between Iran and the United States must not include discussion of the country’s “right to nuclear enrichment,” calling the issue outside the scope of talks.
Ka'bi said any agreement with Washington that contradicts the conditions set by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei would be “religiously forbidden” and unacceptable.
He added that negotiating under threat is also forbidden, warning that making concessions or promises to the United States would embolden it. Ka'bi said sanctions and the risk of war must be fully removed, and that any resolution should result in lasting peace rather than a prolonged state of tension.
